How would this "most overrated" team do?

In "The All purpose Lu Thread" I saw a link to what appears to be a relatively recent Sports Illustrated article listing the fifteen most overrated players in hockey, as voted by other players. It links to http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/mul...content.1.html

The fifteen players are, in alphabetical order:

Jay Bouwmeester
Scott Gomez
Ryan Kesler
Mike Komisarek
Ilya Kovalchuk
Dany Heatley
Jarome Iginla
Olli Jokinen
Ed Jovanovski
Vincent Lecavalier
Roberto Luongo
Alex Ovechkin
Chris Pronger
Dion Phaneuf
Alexander Semin

If they all came together on the same team, filled out by "neutral average" players who don't hurt/help the team to fill out the roster, how would you guys rate this team in terms of:

Chemistry
Defensive capability
Grit
Longevity
Offensive capability
Playoff success
Regular season success

...That sort of thing.

And would you trade your favorite teams current roster for this one? After all, despite the obvious star power on this team, there are presumably negative things about at least some of them that led them to become overrated...

Jarome Iginla, really?
Olli Jokinen, has gonnen bashed most of his career. Not overrated by me anyway
Ed Jovanovski, depth defenceman
Vincent Lecavalier, overpayed but probably underrated at this point
Roberto Luongo, top 15 starter in the NHL, under appreciated
Alex Ovechkin, one the the most prolific scorers the NHL has ever seen
Chris Pronger, one of the best defenceman in the last 30 years,

Ovechkin-Kesler-Kovalchuk
Heatley-Lecavalier-Iginla
-Jokinen-Semin
-Gomez-

Phaneuf-Pronger
Jovanovski-Komisarek

Luongo

Dunno about y'all, but that seems pretty badass to me. Obvious weaknesses are too many RWs, and not enough playmaking capability. Lots of "puck hogs".

I don't think any of these guys are overrated, most of them are really good players and some are just decent guys that I never really hear of anymore.

Since the guy above me did a list, I will too.

Jay Bouwmeester : Wouldn't really say overrated at this point in his career, has really been a top 4 defenseman his whole career, and has put up decent point numbers as a defenseman.
Scott Gomez : On a slump, probably going to retire soon.
Ryan Kesler : Very good #1C, great defensively, has put up solid numbers.
Mike Komisarek : Haven't heard his name in a while, underrated. Think his play is decent for how much recognition he gets. Overpayed though as Darcy said.
Ilya Kovalchuk : Has had a great career, is an amazing player, probably one of the top 10 in the world at this point.
Dany Heatley : Never really considered him being overrated, has put up 2 100 point seasons since the lockout. Solid 1st or 2nd line guy as he goes on with his career.
Jarome Iginla : His class and skillset just speaks for itself.
Olli Jokinen : Played well in Florida, getting older, probably going to retire soon, not overrated in my opinion. I would say he is the opposite of overrated.
Ed Jovanovski : Overrated maybe at some point in his career, but has had a good career whatever anyone says.
Vincent Lecavalier : Once again has had a pretty decent career, I wouldn't call him overrated.
Roberto Luongo : Good goaltender that held the Panthers from just absoulutely crashing, and has led the Canucks to many Playoff berths. He has a .919 career SV%.
Alex Ovechkin : REALLY? He is one of the best goal scorers of the post lock-out era. If not the best.
Chris Pronger : Even though I don't like his attitude, he is probably the second best defenseman career wise next to Lidstrom in the past 15-20 years.
Dion Phaneuf : Eh.
Alexander Semin : I think he's a 30 goal scorer pretty much anywhere he goes, maybe a little overrated, but not by much.

That team would win many cups (assuming half decent support players)

How in God's name is Gomez overrated?

Everyone says Luongo sucks now, too. I don't see him as very overrated.

Overrated does not mean someone is not a good player, or that they are overpaid. Bad list. Luongo and Gomez are far from overrated.

Overrated is someone like Pavel Datsyuk, IMO.

I would happily take all of those players on the Avalanche aside from Gomez, Luongo and Komisarek.

To be overrated you have to be actually said to be good, who has said Gomez is good in the last year. Kovalchuk is also not overrated

This... How are any of these guys "over-rated"? They have to be held on some kind of pedestal to be overrated.

Ovechkin - Lecavalier - Semin
Kovalchuk - Kesler - Iginla
Gomez - Jokinen - Heatley

Pronger - Phaneuf
Bouwmeester - Jovo
Komisarek

Luongo

Get a coach like Babcock, Quenville, or McLellan and they're challenging for the Cup.

Challenging?

They're borderline cup locks.

Ovechkin, Semin, Kovalchuk, Iginla, Heatley?

That's unreal fire power of the wings, no defence can even come close to stopping that. Look at teams playing against NJD last year, not many games were Kovy, Elias and Parise were all shut down, same in Wsh not often were Ovie, Semin and Backs all shut down. Here you have Kovy, Ovie, Iggy who are all elite 1st liners, and Semin and Heater who are also 1st liners.

Kesler/Lecav decent duo down the middle.

D is meh. Can hold it's own, more of an offensive d.

Imo, this team would win most games by 2-3 goals.

Depends what you mean by not helping the team. On most cup winners the 4th line and 3rd defence pairing is made up of pretty solid players. If you're allowed to put the likes of Daniel Paille or Matt Greene on the team, this team probably could be a cup favourite. If you're only allowed the likes of Jay Rosehill, not so much.
