Meh, I don't think any Van fans are good with it. Kadri to Schroeder is a moderate upgrade, but Percy is unspectacular and doesn't really fill any needs for us, and a 1st in 2014 is too far away to make an impact with this core. If it's a 1st conditional on playoffs, then there's nothing to lose by making it 2013. Imho one of JVR, Lupul, or Kulemin(in order of preference) would need to be involved. Gillis has said we need to be a better team, and that trade doesn't do that.
Connolly is both exciting and frustrating to watch. He has that capabilty to almost slow things down on the ice and he is very creative while setting up his linemates. On the flip side, he doesn't seem to show up every night, not to mention he seems to find himself on the IR from time to time.
He comes off as a top 6 or press box kind of guy. Even Raymond, despite the qualities he brings to the backchecking, breakout/zone entry, and defensive aspects to the game, found himself in the press box when he wasn't producing. Judging by Connolly's recent seasons, his offensive production wouldn't keep him out of the press box and if that were the case then I'd much rather have Raymond. If a cap dump has to come back the other way, I hope Lombardi can handle 80% d-zone starts(-edit- oh god that +/-).

That's essentially the high-low range of what I would expect in a deal. I don't feel the need to pawn off Raymond, he's expendable, but he doesn't need to be included in every single proposal we make. He's still a decent player, and it doesn't make sense for us to sell low on him.
I'd probably pull the trigger on the first two, hum and haw over the third, and only take the last out of desperation.

Deal 1 is good. Deal 2 is good, but swap Kadri for Colbourne and I think both fan bases are happy. Deal 3 is good. Add Colbourne to deal 4 and I think it's good.

Probably good value, but leaves the Canucks waaaay too weak up the middle for prospects. Not sure if Connolly will fit under the cap this year as well.

You could keep Schroeder.
Connolly should fit as you'd be dumping Luongo's and Raymond's contracts.

Lupul makes much more sense for us than Colborne or Kadri to target. A playmaking top-6 winger is something we need. We have decent centre prospects in Schroeder and Gaunce, and even better winger prospects in Kassian and Jensen. For a team looking to contend now, Lupul makes the most sense.
