Sparse crowd...

Fraser had a nice backcheck earlier. I really think we can put any concerns about his defensive commitment to rest.

It was always questionable decision to put this team in Abbotsford, 90% of the people are Canucks fans and have no interest in Calgary farm team.

Petersen cracks me up. I always thought we were carrying an AHL-level player on our roster for all those years. Now I'm thinking we had an ECHL-level player playing in the NHL.

Well you are talking about a franchise who employed Woywitka for more than one game.

That Abbotsford PP was pretty bad. Brodie looked like the only person who knew what he was doing.

Eakin has that deceptive burst of speed in reserve for when he needs to get around a defender.

Yeah it seems like the problem is that any other city near Calgary already has a WHL team.

Vincour seems to be playing the point on the PP. Worked out there.

Yeah dumb call on the icing. Nice stretch pass by Oleksiak too bad it was Peterson on the breakaway.

It really is eerie how much Fortunus plays like Robidas and how much Morin plays like Ribeiro.

^ Barker had pretty much nothing to do with that goal. Hopefully it gets fixed. I've noticed the AHL scorers get it wrong a lot of the time initially.

Love how Eakin knew exactly what he wanted to do with that puck. Almost had Chiasson in the slot.

Nemeth stepping up into the play, nice wrister that just barely got saved.

Heat score. 1-1.

Chiasson might be getting credit for the goal. He was right in front of the slot and R. Smith was off to the side. Both were trying to bang home the rebound, it was hard to see exactly who got it.

I thought it was Smith from Chiasson and Vincour.

Eakin is just a pleasure to watch. I love pretty much everything he does on the ice.
