What an enjoyable period to watch, all four lines are rolling really good, strong puck possession and lots of opportunities just need to finish.
R. Smith has been dominant down low and creating lots of chances from the corners. Like what I am seeing from Glennie as well.

Reilly just has to breakout at some point doesn't he? He looks so good but can't convert.

Yeah ... 100 Degree mentioned that on Twitter as well. He's looking so good, but how can you keep saying that if the production doesn't come.

Been a good game, both goalies standing on their head the whole 3rd period...

Haha Peterson! Just like he planned it I'm sure.
Nihlstorp looked good while the team in front of him was playing not to lose instead of playing for the W in the last 10 mins.

Probably 1 of 2 things. Early in the 1st, he blocked a shot with the side of his foot. He limped off, but he returned to finish the period.
The second thing it could have been was the bench door came up during play late in the first, and he was hit awkwardly into it. That was his last shift of the period.

Eakin in walking boot as a precaution, but X-rays were negative. #txstars
Bone bruise maybe? I bet he'll sit a few games.

Austin Smith back to ECHL. Missed 3 games in Idaho ... didn't play in Texas ...
I know some people don't like him playing in the ECHL .... but not playing at all is pretty ridiculous.

I would have liked to see Austin once, I've never seen him play
But it is ridiculous to not play, speaking of which is Robinson still in purgatory (AHL pressbox/stands)?
