Watching the webcast last night, I culd see the collective play improved and the defensive game much improved.

Also we can very well notice the 60 minutes effort which is a direct result of the improved conditioning and of rolling 4 lines continuously.

I don't mean to flood this thread with the Titan and I will pursue my comments on the Titan thread instead for the future.
The Titan have underachieved since the beginning of the season and they are now at the level I was expecting them to be which is nice to see for the Titan fans.
Isn't this the homer bs that got you kicked off the other site.

From what I know/understand. The deadline for CHL players to get called back is the 8th... That's roster deadline day.
Marc Bergevin, must be a good source...

If they reach an agreement on January 11th, it would make no sense if the NHL teams don't have the chance to evaluate their young players coming from the CHL.

I remember that there was some kind of list where teams could name players who may be asked to report after the lockout. The Habs chose to place Galchenyuk on that list. I don't know about other teams but I would be surprised if Huberdeau wasn't on Florida list.

EDIT : Here we go http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2...-lockout-ends/

Unless teams are in contact with the Florida Panthers and know something we don't, there is definitely a chance that they could trade for a player (Huberdeau) on January 8th who could report to his NHL team a couple days later if the lockout ends and might never come back to the QMJHL.

Les Voltigeurs envoient Marc-Olivier Brouillard au Titan d'Acadie-Bathurst contre un espoir et des choix de 1Ťre et 3e rondes.

wtf?

Why is a team 4 games under .500 trading a 1st rounder for a 1993?

It was reported in the media. He said it, that is what I meant.

The list is interesting. I can't wait to see what will happen for Huberdeau.

Firstly the Titan needed to clean up and now are going well....

It is not far fetched to believe this team could repeat the 2000-2001 edition feat....

Zach O'Brien is the best OA I have seen in Bathurst in a long time and he is firing of all cylinders right now.

Only to get demolished by Gamache & Co. If this team managed to get that far again, they'd fall back down to earth. It's delusional to consider the Titan contenders this season.

Which is why he should be unloaded for picks and/or young players.

Honestly, Bathurst now has a very deep forward group... Their D could definitely use improvement (Big time), but IMO they have the forward group to possibly compete.

What is the problem about reaching the Q final?

How long did some teams wait for that?

I prefer as a fan to see my team get to the Finals than lose in the first round.

So far all moves have improved the Titan this season while not weakening them for 13-14.....on the contrary:
Walsh,Gingras,Brouillard,Pelletier will all be back.

Only Delorme and Kelly might be questionable.

Adding a guy like Lambert-Lemay on D would go a long way into solidifying what has been a pretty good group lately.

I think the issue is that there is just no market for 20's this year. All the teams leading in the standings are set with their 20's so some of the midpack teams can't get good value by selling so might as well tweak.

Brouillard if i'm not mistaken would be back next year as a 20 so this move should help this year and next. Might as well trade for him now while you still have O'Brien,Bissonette and Beaudry

I like the move for Bathurst.

One thing remains....O'Brien finished 2nd in Q scoring last season and was the best sniper.
And he is heading to repeat that this season without Trudeau.

When will the Titan have back such a player?

If we could have got a 1st round pick plus a solid prospect for him, maybe the direction could have been different, but LGM had to decide between this season and next.

The Maritimes Division is looking like much weaker than it looked 1 month ago....except for Halifax.
The Titan can position themselves pretty decently for the playoffs to come and could make an upset.
Winning the 1st round is pretty reachable for sure.

Last night, watching Lalancette play with O'Brien and Bissonnette was a real treat.

Now we might see Beaudry playing regularly with Brouillard and Zdrahal.

Zboril and Pelletier were playing with Beaudry last night while Lafontaine was centering Stevens and Walsh.

If you relegate Pelletier and Zboril to 3rd line with Lafontaine, it bring down Stevens and Walsh to 4th line with Kelly/Salvail/Meredith/Marois.
We could roll a 5th line.

Stephen MacAulay des #seadogs aux #Mooseheads en retour d'un choix de 4e (2013) et 2e (2014) un peu plus de profondeur pour Hfx #lhjmq

MacAulay to HFX for a 4th in 2013 and a 2nd in 2014.

Solid pickup for the Moose, he burned us bad last night. Hopefully that translates to other teams.

So what do they do for their 20 situation now?

Looks like Gillard will be the odd man out which is unfortunate because he was a rock on the point. Super underrated in lastyears playoff run too.

Im assuming since Cam shows a strong sense of loyalty to his 20's that Gillard will get moved in hopes of picking up assets to acquire another Dman

Pavlov tweeted a Quebec team has been interested in him for some time.
