The legendary Steve Gillard has fallen !

MacAulay will be missed, but he will help Halifax.. After BLB got Tesink they couldn't stand pat.

NHL tentatively agree to a new CBA. Outside of Huberdeau, what other things will be affected? Does Quebec lose Gregirenko?

I don't understand your comment... did he piss in your Cheerios or something?

Gillard was the ultimate team player and heart and soul guy and will be missed.

I just felt he was overrated.

Well Durepos could get traded... Huberdeau is off the market now and that really sets our rebuild far back.

Glad NHL is back, for sure, but Huberdeau not available hurts so bad...

You might be right that he is not on the trading block....except for the right offer...
I am not counting much on him, more now on Murphy.

The Titan did ask for Noreau....that is what I know.
They also enquired for Lambert-Lemay.

Finally they have an offer made on Matt Murphy.

Believe it or not, they are also receiving enquiries on some of their defensemen.

It is a very scarce market for Ds this trade period and the prices are very high.

Fortunately the Titan got a few high picks and some prospects that are interesting a few teams.

We will have a better idea how it unfolds on Tuesday as some GMs will wait till the wire to give answers....hoping the prices will go higher some more.

Noreau ? Are you serious when you say that ?!

You bashed Moncton for being buyers when they were in 5th place and now you're all for Bathurst being buyers in the 12th - 14th places.

Roy was told by Buffalo that Grigorenko will stay in Quebec for the rest of the season.

Unless I'm mistaken, outside of St-John with Huberdeau, no other team will be affected.

he has no clue. They probably enquired about Nugent hopkins also, only to then realize he actually plays in Edmondton.
the comments and trades he talks about are some of the funniest i've ever seen. no sense to them whatsoever.

one minute Noreau is going there, the next their rebuilding with a 17yr old Murphy.... he's all over the place!!!

Murphy is NOT a rebuilding plan, it is a D who is ready to play #2-3 right this season like he does in VD...

With the scarcity of good 19 YO Ds, Murphy becomes an interesting option for this year also....not only years to come.

I don't really have a problem with your opinions, but some facts are passing by your wayside.

some facts are passing me by.... explain logically to all of us, any possible deal that could make Baie comeau want to trade Noreau to Bathurst?? please explain this to all of us, and perhaps then we will see the light!!! Seriously...please explain.

The mere thought of that is basically admitting that in your world there only exist "les titans de bathurst"

I can't wait to see what your trade would look like... Keep in mind that BC have 3 first round picks already this year, and 2 next year. Bathurst have 2 this year, and none next year.

The Titan and the Drakkar had serious talks together about Noreau a few weeks ago.

The Drakkar gained lots of ground on Quebec/BLB in the last 3 weeks and things have changed indeed.
Right now I don't either believe the Titan will get Noreau.

you havent answered my question. And....3 weeks ago, BC was 4th overall, Bathurst 14th. Dont answer with Generalities, give me specifics.

CHSB: Why did Bathurst only get a 6th round pick for Carl Marois ? Remember , he was better than any Wildcats prospects and you considered him very highly touted...

Probably that I could ask you the same question about a Cats player who was supposed to blossom this season and didn't....

Marois was the fastest skater on the team and had a knack for the net...

What happened?

Good question as he did not develop....

he picked your question to answer instead of mine....that dissapoints me!! but doesnt surprise me. yours was easier to answer. I was looking forward to hearing a real concrete example of a trade sending Noreau to Bathurst that would have made sense for BC.

I don't know about the Drakkar Management, but a lot of fans are complaining that he watered down extensively his physical game this season.
Also he is being used on occasion on the first D pairing and on the PP and PK where he shows lack of mobility...
He would be a good fit in Bathurst if he was using his body as a #4 shutdown guy and as an enforcer.
But I would not give a 1st round pick for him and that is the rumour about the asking price in BC.....funny that you did not hear that one.
BC are actively shopping for a PPQB plus a backup goaltender and Noreau could be shopped for that reason.
I doubt that BC would trade him to Halifax as a rumour has it because they might find Noreau on their path if Halifax acquired him, something they would resent highly.
Noreau is still the best fighter in the Q even if he was rather quiet this season.
