A lot of rumor in Quebec in the last days :

Brent Turnbull from Sherbrooke
Dilon Donnely from Shawinigan
Blake Millman from Cape Breton
Andew O'Brien from Rouyn-Noranda

It's not with these players that the Remparts will go for the cup!

Hand injury. Should be back soon as it happened in mid-October and he was deemed out 6-8 weeks.

I thought Turnbull went in the Kameav deal... Regardless I guess he's a Remp....

Donnelly and millman seem to be locks but no way O'Brien goes there... Unless something has changed, but I though MA Carrier only wants to play in Quebec?

If MacKinnon and Drouin are both in the NHL next year, that could be a very nice trade for Shawinigan to get Halifax's 1st in 2014.

Meh, Eichel isn't a factor next year, if ever.
He has a contract with the NTDP until the end of the 13-14 season.

Still hate that pick so much.

They took him at 14 for a good reason.

They took him early because he was the most talented player on the board, but he was there because he wasn't likely to report.
After he committed to the NTDP though, they were guaranteed not to get him for two years.
At that point, who knows if he'll even be interested in reporting to a team that may not be a contender.

It's not even like people can still hope that he'll report after his NTDP stint since he's a late birthday.
Initially it was reported that he committed to BU starting in the fall of 2015 which would have left a gap that would have forced him to play in the USHL, but RinkNet lists him as 2014.

He can break the commitment... Or the Moose will buy him off...

RinkNet... That's used by all Q teams...

Yes, he can break the commitment but American kids usually don't.

And yes, but that has nothing to do with anything.
If you want to see the commitment for yourself, go here and search for Eichel, the click his name.

Rumor has it Currie will not be moved. They want to keep him as he is a local and puts people in the seats, not to mention the kid is having a great year for the team. Apparently they are still shopping Duffy though and are hoping he can still generate a decent return to build around for next season. I kind of agree with this because although they are playing good hockey, they can't compete with BBA or Halifax when it comes to playoffs so they might as well try to add a few pieces to build for the upcoming years while they have assets that will generate returns for them. It's nice to show loyalty to Currie and the fans too by holding onto him.

I agree with not moving Curries but if this team trades Duffy shouldnt they unload more assets as that will be a sideways deal do you see them adding any1 to help them this year?

The reason we made this deal is to probably contend next season using that pick.

No way Drouin is in the NHL next year IMO. Maybe if he gets a desperate team.
