Parlant échanges #LHJMQ ne soyez pas surpris de voir Michael Beaudry des #Foreurs quitter vers le #Titan en retour de Brandon Hynes #rumeur

Interesting.

to Bathurst Micheal Beaudry
to Vald'or Brandon Hynes
Good trade form the titan imo they will be third in the division before long as I font see the Rocket doing anything this trade period like always we sit and watch as other teams get better and we do nothing I question myself everyday why I buy season tickets to watch this team.....well this will be my last year

Moncton / Saint John don't make good trade partners and I suspect that will not change ... but I've been wrong before
I fully agree with your assesssment, so if you're wrong we're both wrong lol

Seems like a lateral move ?

Not bad for either team ... Bathurst makes out well getting Beaudry given Hynes was requesting a trade anyway

Couple interesting moves while I was out ... The Halifax trade could be very interesting ... will they draft 2 new euros or will they use the potential #3 and #6 picks to trade for something to help them this year ... My guess is the latter but could be wrong

My logic is simple Halifax doesn't have a 1st in 2013 and they traded their pick for next year leaving them with 1 st RD pick left in the next 2 years ... Maybe they'll have to use the euro picks ... or maybe they just use one and keep the other

The most wonderful time of the year is here folks!

Seems like the kind of move LGM is famous for ... lateral.

Hynes asked for a trade 3 weeks into the season when Dubois stripped him of the C.

He then went back to Sly and told him he wanted to stay.

However LGM probably told him that he would grant him his wish once he found a good trading partner.
Beaudry is a centerman, a position where O'Brien has been playing for a while now, but is not his natural position as he usually plays as a winger.
Beaudry could probably center the first line with O'Brien and Bissonnette.
Lalancette will center the 2nd line and Lafontaine can also play center and Stevens/Zboril/Meredith....

It will be interesting to watch in the next couple of games what line Beaudry will play on.
Right now the line of Zdrahal/O'Brien/Bissonnette works very well, so I don't know really.

All in all, this is a very good trade for the Titan as they pick a veteran centerman, a rare commodity this season, for Hynes and gain 1 round at the 2013 draft.

If he wanted to stay then why is he now being traded ?

Hynes was acquired to play with O'Brien and Bissonnette on the 1st line and they really never clicked after being tried together multiple times.
Hynes liks to shoot first and foremost and Bissonnette and O'Brien are shooters also and playmakers at the same time....they fitted very well with Trudeau last season, but not with Hynes.

Vald'Or were looking for a sniper and the Titan were looking for a playmaker....good deal for both teams IMO.
42 points in 32 games for Beaudry, their first line centerman and the centerman on the 1st PP unit.
Hynes we all know can score more than he did so far.

I heard from some people "in the know" that Huburdeau to Halifax is a real possibility. I can't see it happening, though.

Hearing lots of rumors, Millman, Donnelly, Gray, Beaudry to Quebec, both Poudriers to Val d'Or, and the big one… Carrier and Lavoie to Val d'Or for Murphy and a combination of picks that I'm guessing will turn into futures. Read these on the Maritimes Board, but don't quote me on any. Val d'Or really stacking themselves up it seems.

Mario can't help himself. Once Dumont was fired and Durocher got the keys, it was inevitable that he'd start cashing in futures immediately. I'm not sure the Cape Breton trade rumours are true, but that's his M.O.

I've heard it too. When I was watching the Team Canada games on FastHockey, they were talking about Huberdeau and one of them said "... if he were to go to Halifax".

I know that isn't exactly saying much, but if they were talking about it than surely it could be being discussed. I'd love to have him on the team, but I think the asking price would be a bit high.

I'd do the trade if the value was something along the lines of:
Shawinigan/Sherbrooke 1st in Import Draft (whichever is 1st ovr)
Luca Ciampini

If we had to throw in another pick (not a 1st), i'd probably do it. I can't imagine anyone wanting to pay full value for Huberdeau, as they're only going to have him for a few months..

Durocher isn't the GM in Val D'Or, it's Alexandre Rouleau.

Well Beaudry was traded to Bathurst earlier this week for Hynes. Donnelly and Millman to Quebec is almost set in stone..

I've heard this rumour as well. I'm not sure how reliable a source but it would worth for both teams , imo.

Wrong Beaudry

They are going to acquire Jeremy Beaudry from Sherbrooke.
