It's close, but I'd say Bartschi.

This coming offseason they are going to merge into Svenkael Bärtlund, and he will win all NHL trophies in the 2013-2014 season.

But how is this possible when Gabriel Landeskog is still in the league?

I went with Baertschi. Both are small guys, but Granlund isn't fast enough, in my opinion, to make up for his size. Baertschi lacks the playmaking and stickhandling skills that Granlund has, but he is definitely quicker.

Unfortunately Landeskog's body will have to be sacrificed in the fusing ritual.

If his body does survive the process, then Landeskog will win the Vezina.

I need to see more of Granlund to make a better call, as of now I'd say Baertschi.

Cool to see a poll so close. Went with Baertschi because of his added grit and better skating, the other attributes both players seem to be very similar.

I expect both to be good, but I think Baertschi will be better.

This is a worrisome prediction by an expert. How come Baertschi?? Granlund is simply the better one, now when I have watched both I know for certain. Earlier I had a neutral opinion but after taking a look at them the difference is clear. And it's not even close.

Granlund is just amazingly good even when he is invisible he racks up points.

That might be why. Baertschi is a Parise-type player that relentlessly hounds the puck and has the motor running all the time, where Granlund is more passive and when he isnt converting saucer passes to wine, you likely wont notice him on the ice.

...but his point was that Granlund has the ability to make plays consistently. When he isn't making the highlight play, he's making the simple but smart plays. Plays you notice or you don't notice, they'll end up as goals. He was actually praising Granlund.

Granlund is also almost a year older I think it is to close to call, personally I think Granlund will get more points but be more of a passive play maker were I think Bartschi will be a player that does it more on his own. It comes down to which you think is better. The homer in me makes me take Bartschi as the better overall player.

Yes, Granlund is a year older and a step above. It's more like

Mikael granlund > Markus Granlund = Sven Baertschi.
