Palmieri really showed his strengths on the two goals. First one was a wicked one-timer, off a silky pass from Vatanen. Second one he just chipped it right over the goaltender from in close, showing those hands of his.

Can someone tell me what happened on Holland's goal?
Thanks in advance.

It should be noted that, while Holland won't get a point on Palmieri's 1st, he won the face-off back and got that play started.

Pass from behind the net to Holland in front. Holland buried it.

I'm really happy with his development.
Though as a side note I've been even happier with Holland. I really can see him being an effective 2C in the NHL if he continues trending up.

Kind of a sloppy play by Vatanen there, and now we have a face-off in our end after having full control in their end. :/

Palmieri seems to have gotten under the skin of the other team.

Uh-oh. 4-3. And our boy Sami with -3 today. That was a weird goal.
It looked like Anderson had the puck under control but didn't and someone chipped it in after a few failed attempts.

Vatanen was partially responsible on this last goal. He got too focused trying to body the player, and completely ignored his stick and puck.
