Vatanen 0 - Crossbar 1.

Maybe they let him shoot in PS?

Yeah, something is off. I'm not sure what it is, but we probably won't know until later, if at all.

Yeah. The slow motion was great. His shot does have "some" punch in it...

Thank God. This would have been a game the Admirals lost... not a game Albany won.

Norfolk made a lot of mental mistakes towards the end of the game. Hopefully that was just fatigue related.

Well they played three games in a row, they got to be fatigued a little bit.

How so? Albany outplayed them despite having 6 less pps

Unfortunately I didn't have time to watch the game until overtime. Slick shootout goal by Whitney, thankfully Holland corresponded with another slick move.

One thing is when you have 11 points in 11 games and you are a minus 3 you are getting points on the pp and are terrible defense 5 on 5 but maybe its your d partner, I think we are in trouble this season because this season is going to be all about the development or lack of it on a few players who are getting a exposed.

Just noticed I wrote Anderson on multiple occasions today. Meant Andersen. Sorry guys.

Anderson did play tonight but on the wrong team.

I thought Albany was the better team today, We are lucky to be above .500 right now and with the top team coming to town this weekend for 2 games this might be the last time we are a .500 team. Really frustrating to watch given the start, Maybe a shakeup is in order, but this is the AHL and I cant see that happening.

Hate to hear that Sami's being intimidated considering the tissue-soft group we have down there.

I can't find AHL team stats. Some quick and probably unreliable math shows Norfolk at around 21st in goals against.

I can't wait until Holland and Palmieri are Ducks. They're doing great.
