Quebec University to PRO?

Hey guys, just joined HF so plz dont hate or excuse me for anything that may offend you. but a quick question

Can a player from a quebec university or playing in the CIS, queen's, mcgill, concordia..etc, go pro?

I mean, is there a chance that you shine enough at this level, you can still go pro?

Yes.

ECHL San Francisco recruited a number of CIS grads for their inaugural squad.

Just a matter of being "good enough" to be seen by scouts and/or attend one (or more) open try out camps.

CIS players regularly go to the ECHL, Central Hockey League, and some go to the Southern Professional Hockey League.
