Defence

How do you see Edmonton's defence lineup playing out this season(if there is one)

And where do guys like Theo Peckham(looking good after offseason) & Nick Schultz fit in? How many minutes per game?

Thanks

All depends on what Whitney we see..

With pre-injury Whitney

Whitney-N.Schultz
Smid-Petry
Peckham\Sutton-J.Schultz

Gimped Whitney

Smid-Petry
Schultz-Schultz
Whitney-xxxx

Peckham will be a 6/7 D no matter what.

With a healthy Whitney:

Smid-Petry
Whitney-J. Schultz
Peckham/Sutton-N. Schultz
Sutton/Potter

I dont want Theodore anywhere near Justin Schultz.

I don't even want him to sit near him in the locker room or on the bench.

Keep that turnover ooze isolated and quarantined to #24/49's area.

I like what Peckham does for the guys in terms of moral and sticking up for people. But his hockey IQ is through the basement

for me we no longer need to panic on the d-line

we need to address a few issues

for me

Schultz and Klefbom are guys with 1-2 top out quality

with Smid, Petry and Nick Schultz (smid needs to get resigned of course) make a good solid 3-4-5

after that it gets into wishful thinking.

David Musil. Marincin, Martin, Fedun, Taylor, Teubert, Colten( I still have high hopes for him) with dark horses being Erik Gustafsson, Dillon Simpson and Martin Gernat.

We need some guys to fill in till more of the young guys are ready for full time work

Whitney, Potter and Peckham might just do that for two years
