Still think that's lopsided. Pietrangelo is "projected" to be as good as Chara is, Tarasenko is "projected" to be as good as Krejci is, Schwartz is "projected" to be as good as Horton is, then you add in another top 6 forward in Peverley. Gotta take out Horton or Krejci, or take out Peverly and add something else IMO.

IMO Tarasenko will be MUCH better than Krejci, and Schwartz MUCH better than Horton. Peverley is a 3rd liner. But it's all opinion, I'm fine with whatever.

Agreed about Tarasenko and Schwartz. Also keep in mind BOS is rebuilding so 17 years of Piet >> 3 years of Chara.

Ok well what I meant was Tarasenko is projected to be a top line forward. Krejci was the best forward on a cup winning team and is still a very good #1 center. There's no guaranteeing though that Tarasenko will ever be that good, although he does have "potential" to be better.
That's how I felt about the others too. It's a trade of future stars for stars now. I honestly could see Pietrangelo for Chara being accepted. They're both proven stars. But trading 2 other top line forwards, and a 2nd line forward, for 2 forwards that "project" as top line/top 6 forwards just doesn't seem fair value wise IMO. I'm not the commish though
High price to pay, but we get a quality starter and 2/3 of a new top line.
I am now ~300K under the cap, with a 26 player roster (16F, 7D, 3G), so I have plenty of cap space.
The following can now be had for picks/specs: Bergenheim, Parros, Santorelli, Skille, Wellman, Clemmensen
confirm
It was hard to let go of Getzlaf, Ryan and Hiller but in the end we are in a rebuild and getting the best goalie prospect out there along with two extremely good forward prospects really made it easier to do. Matheson and the 1st were just gravy.
