Grats! Work got me one. I neither wanted it nor asked for it, funny enough. They want me to test it to approve for general ordering, and they hadn't bought me a new phone in over 4 years, so I keep it.

The irony here is that I'm just going to forward it to my personal cell, a 2 year old android phone, and stick the iphone in a drawer.

One good thing about no power for a week..My kids talked to me more that week then they have in months...they are 19 and 17 so don't always share info but it was quite...lots of trips down memory lane and good to know they are both in very good spots in their life as well..very proud of them...

One bad thing...I'm sick as ****. Keep going to work because A. I use sicks days as vacation days, and B. because nobody ever calls in sick and makes me sick...biatches.

we talked about the lord of the rings i think in the last thread.

as much as i may have disagreed with jackson's interpretations and cuts in places...basically from minas tirith to morannon, i can't think of a time i've just sat and watched a movie without any sort of thinking otherwise what was on the screen. i think from morannon on (excusing the scouring of the shire being left out) is a very strong end of the trilogy.

still hate two towers though.
