Same here. The stream shut down at the end of the 1st and hasn't come back yet.

Dumoulin 3-1

Unless that was tipped, it's Dumoulin's first pro goal.

3 best Baby Pens this year are showing tonight: Bennett, Dumoulin and Zatkoff. I'm at the game now, and all 3 especially Bennett look fantastic tonight.

Farnham gets hit from behind by Jared Nightingale

5 minute PP

Farnham's fine apparently, tough to say how bad the hit actually was with only Tom Grace to go on.

Holzapfel scores a breakaway goal off of a nice saucer pass by Bennett.

The Pens failed to score on the 5 minute powerplay, but Syracuse apparently decided they wanted to board some people, so they got another powerplay right after it expired.

Are Holzapfel considered a prospect? he should be cause hes only a few months older than tangradi, and hes younger than Strait.

Bennett's goal was just cruel. I couldn't believe he actually pulled it off.

I thought Syracuse was getting a little nasty at points. Penguins powerplay was kind of flat. I would have liked to see MacIntyre take someone aside and sort them out if they weren't going to get revenge with a bunch of goals.

Yeah, I'd say so. He's also the same age as Gibbons & Thompson.. and he's an RFA at the end of the season.

The vids for Bennett's goal and assist were put up on Bombulie's blog:

Man, those were precision plays. He picked that corner short side, and he put exactly the right weight on that long saucer pass.

If the NHL ever plays again then they've GOT to put Bennett with Crosby.

In 2013-2014? Yes. In 2012-2013? No, not a chance. He doesn't have the strength yet to play in the NHL. And there is no reason to rush him. As I said before, he will probably get like 5 games just to give him experience.

Yeah. Zero chance Bennett plays in the NHL this season, and I'd keep him down in the AHL for a full year next season, too. That is, unless he has an absolutely insane camp and blows the coaching staff out of the water.

Bennett has 15 points (5 goals, 10 assists) in 19 games played. That's good enough for 7th in the A for rookie scoring. Over 82 games, that's 64/65 points with 27/28 goals which would be the 2nd most points all time for a WBS rookie. If Bennett keeps up this pace, only Toby Petersen and Matt Murley would either outscore Bennett or outpace him.

And wait, how many games does WBS play this year?
