They like Lazar and Hägg. Hoping that Hägg would fall around 20.

Good list, I think I would have Mickhusin lower though.

Why is McKinnon still ranked ahead of Drouin on all these lists?

Domi at 25? behind Horvat? Have you watched any Knights games? I sure hope Domi falls that far and the Habs get him........we will be the shortest team forever

I think people put too much emphasis on this season.

Scouts see Nate having higher potential, reaching it more likely and/or he's game translating better in NHL.

Most still love his overall game. I concur: he his terrific offensive ability while already being excellent at the defensive aspect of the game. His speed would put him among the fastest in the NHL already, his shot is lethal, and his vision and stickhandling are all very good.

Drouin has an edge this year in production, but that does not mean his game will translate as easily, which is why MacK is still number two overall.

Because scouts actually watch the games, not the scoresheet.

I'm not going to pretend I've watched them a billion times or anything. But every time I do, Drouin is the one drives the play. The puck is on his stick more often than not and he's the one that controls the game offensively and creates the most scoring opportunities, McKinnon seems to be the sidekick finishing up opportunities.
