I was back home visiting last week and out of boredom, threw on the simulcast of Felger and Mazz a few days. Man, Felger just repeats the same handful of points for four hours straight, or even over the course of a few days. Now, I get that it's radio and they have a rotating audience, but the man is just so pig headed, and Mazz has become his stooge at this point.

The last two paragraphs sum it up quite nicely.

if Felger wants to cr*p on CJ for shifting lines in and out then I'd focus on CJ's complete rejection of the Fred Shero maxim - Never roll a line out on the ensuing center ice faceoff after they have just given up a goal because they'll over compensate by trying to do too much and probably get a penalty....and, ALWAYS roll the same line out after they have just scored. They may get another one on their adrenaline, or at least have a really good shift that will keep the pressure on.

Whenever I listen to them I can't help but picture in my mind:

....especially when they do the squeeky Maz and evil Felger voices.

Good points from an immortal. It's absurd that shameless Gil Stein got himself into the Hall Of Fame while Freddie remains out in the cold.

here's one from Shero on lucky goals that Jack could have used last night instead of whatever lame one he did use.

"The goal itself may have been lucky, but the hard work that led to it wasn't."

Didn't Jack add after that the old adage that luck is the residue of hard work?
