Obviously been confirmed and there's a thread on the main board, but I thought this was thread-worthy considering Spacek had some solid years here and had possibly the best season of his career in Buffalo in 08-09.
I still miss the guy here and he really was pretty darn good for us for the most part. I loved his shot and him and Soupy were good paired together. I also met him when he was here and he was a great professional and person. Extremely nice, outgoing, and willing to interact with the fans. I loved watching him play for us. I wish him the best in retirement. He's a guy I didn't want to let go but for the money he got from Montreal and the way our defense turned out in recent years I understand why he was let to walk and it worked out for the best for us anyway.
