I know he got alot of flack because of the HBO series and I know he had an off year last year? Does Philly want to keep him and his (almost as equally bad in comparison to Luongo's contract) bad contract? Or would they jump at the chance to get rid of him and look elsewhere for a goalie?
I mean, Philly did it before. They gave big contracts to M.Richards and J. Carter, than shortly after dumped them. Yes they had their issues, but there now seems to be issues with Bryz (mainly that came from the HBO series)
Flyers starting goalie would then be Michael Leighton.
**** that.
I think he got this from a wacky 3 way deal i proposed for ***** and giggles that saw Bryzgalov go to Toronto Luongo go to Philadelphia and Hartnell or Voracek go to Van plus other stuff to the teams
Flyers aren't looking to trade Bryz unless another good starter is coming back. As it was said earlier, without Bryz we'd be starting Leighton. With our defense right now, that would be a disaster.
And no way in hell would the Flyers add one of Schenn/Simmonds/Voracek to go to Toronto with Bryz. If that's the case I'd expect Gardiner or Phaneuf coming back

If Bryzgalov can't handle playing with a Philadelphia team that is a lot better compared to the current roster Toronto has now, then how can he handle playing for the Maple Leafs and he will be under a lot more media preasure to win.

Look at Philly's defense compared to Toronto's, though.
Love it. Do you not remember that Bryzgalov was a waiver-wire pickup by PHX, and then before this year Smith was considered a poor-to-average backup? TIPPETT=Goalie Heaven.

Thoughts?
The Flyers don't really have any goaltending depth behind him unless they want to play Leighton as their starter. The guy was in the AHL for the last two seasons. A contender cannot have an AHL quality starter.
The universe is so humongous big, many good goalies, especially in place called Vancouver.

He was a waiver wire pickup due to an agreement he had with Burke.
