Not really, with the potential start (assuming no hiccups) being next tuesday that is 2-3 weeks.

Get him on board and another forward via trade and we should be fine. We won last year with our depth as the driving force, no reason to change that recipe.

Between Sykora and Butler and Tedenby there might not even be a need to sign someone. It'd be nice to have another big-bodied depth player though, a la Ponikarovsky. Harri Pesonen plays that game in the A but he's not very big and probably shouldn't play in the NHL unless it's an emergency.

Don't really want Tedenby near this team, but might as well see how he looks at camp. Would be nice to get another established top 6/9 winger.

I think that poll we did a while back had most of us here pegging Kovy, Patty, or Sal as potential captains, with Henrique a leader for the future.

We have 22 players that are either on one-way deals or on two-way but locked to make the roster (Larsson, Henrique, etc.) Tedenby and Butler makes 24.

I don't see any room for Sykora right now, but I wouldn't mind him if we had space.

I'm not confident with Tedenby really yet. I think he'll be up, but he'll have to prove he belongs to stay up once Henrique is healthy. He's not exactly a favorite with Deboer either.

Hopefully with any luck Janssen GTFO and ends up in Albany. Let's say a prayer.
