Admirals play Houston tonight....for the 3rd game in a row. Pivko could return to the lineup tonight. Yablonski, don't know his status really. But if both are healthy this will be the first time since November the Ads have had everyone healthy.
Would expect tonight's game to be quite 'chippy' after playing them so often lately.
Admirals lead the western division over CHI by 9 pts 70-61,both with 29 games to go. MIL remains 2nd overall in the western conference, 8 pts now behind red-hot Rochester[Buffalo],and still 3rd overall in the AHL behind Rochester(78) and Manchester(76). 20 of MIL's remaining 29 games are at home however, and a run at the top is certainly set up here.
Milwaukee continues to lead the league in pp goals(64),while their pk has dropped to 13th(40 ppg allowed). Milwaukee is the 2nd highest scoring team in the AHL(170 goals),trailing Machester(180).
Individually Gamache remains third in scoring(66),trailing Cammalleri(70) and Spezza(74).Haydar is 22nd with 44 pts.
Among defensemen,Hutchinson continues to lead the league in scoring with 37 pts, while Hamhuis is now tied for 2nd with Kronwall with 34 pts. Gamache leads all players in the AHL in pp goals(14) while Hamhuis leads all defensemen in pp goals(8).
Tootoo is now 8th in the league in penalty minutes(208).
gamache nor haydar either with a shot on goal after 2 periods...not what you want from your two leading scorers...another frigging 0-0 game after two...jeezus does every team related to the wild play exactly the same type of game?
