Seems real quiet on that front now.

Need to have a 2015 movie?

I think people are over the Mayan calendar thing. I think NASA proved the whole thing was a farce(not that any intelligent person actually believed the world was going to end).

December 21. The way i see it is its a new begining. Somewhere i feel a new start begins. Maybe a truce between fighting countries, or a sudden gain in economic success for a country. Just my opinion though. The world IS NOT ending

Seriously, I can't wait till this dies. The jokes stopped being funny in 2006.

We party every 365 days because we get a new calendar. Can you imagine how hard the Mayans would be partying after they started a new long count?

The local deer population and the priest's ears, tongues and genitals wouldn't know what hit them!

Yeah, a new Mayan calendar cycle begins, like changing millenniums to us. Of course there was a lot of hype for **** going down for that as well.

The way I see it, some Mayan guy ran out of room on a piece of stone, and stopped that particular calendar at Dec 21 2012, and then some jack ass started freaking out about it so he could sell some books.

Nothing is going to happen that is out of the ordinary, and if it does it will be pure coincidence.

In any case, I wish we had calendars like that. I'm tired of these Excel sheet looking things.

Actually yes. There are probably a billion end of the world prophecies that have yet to deliver.

I look forward to the religious people running around saying that the end is nigh to be made foolish, like that did with that Harrold Camping guy.

One day the world will end after the capitalists ravage it of the bulk of its resources and the rich are left to fight the poor for the scraps that remained which they stole.

That day is not this year.

Just read up and apparently one of three things will happen;

Solar Storm - Which as far as I can make out just means it's hotter for a period of time and the Northern Lights are further south than normal
Earth swallowed by a Black Hole - No known Black Hole's nearby
Earth hit's another planet called Nibiru. No planet's that are going to hit us or on our trajectory nearby either.

BOOOSH.

The world will end on December 21st, 2012.

If, of course, the world is now a synonym for autumn.
