Went down to Binghamton to meet some friends and go to the game. Adam came into the restaurant we're in. No way he'd eat this close to game time. Plus he was limping.
Edit : On second glance he may not be limping. Could be healthy scratch.

Pretty tic-tac-toe goal, Roy to Foligno to Porter, 1-0 Merx
Edit: After a tv timeout, Legault vs Cowick straight off the faceoff. Legault with the takedown but Cowick gets the decision.
Biega nearly goes coast-to-coast, wow. Denied by Lehner.
Foligno being a little too unselfish, spins to a stop in the slot causing Sens defense to completely lose position, drops it back for Finley who whiffs.
Lines were shuffled some with Adam out. They are currently:
71 Marcus Foligno - 10 Brian Flynn - 15 Evan Rankin

1st period notes:
Legault gets two for slashing, BNG to the PP; penalty is killed successfully.
Near breakaway for Prince, but pass was just outside his reach.
Zibanejad wires a wrister off the post from the right circle.
GOAL! Porter scores; assists to Foligno and Roy. Roy drops a pass to Foligno; his shot-pass finds Porter at the right post who buries the chance on the backhand.
Off a draw, Legault and Cowick fight; Cowick lands 4-5 punches before Legault goes for the takedown; no instigator here, both get five for fighting.
END OF 1ST PERIOD. 1-0 RCH. SHOTS: RCH 16 - BNG 12.
Off a rebound of a Schofield? shot, Sundher had a point-blank chance, but shoots it into Lehner's pads. Same type of rebound that was buried all night last night by ABB.
Some end-to-end chances... Dziurzynski whistles one from the RW off Leggio's blocker; Foligno counters with a toe drag, loses possession, puck falls to Flynn who wires one just wide; Girgensons-Porter-Roy line sustains the pressure.
Brennan teed one up from right circle on the first unit. Girgensons was out with the second unit which had good possession but no real chance on net. Penalty has now expired.
Pysyk boards Pageau, BNG to the PP; JGL seeing some PK time here; follow-through of a clearance by JGL catches Stone in the face, blood drawn; Jessiman takes a slashing penalty to negate Pysyk penalty. Amerks now on the PP... Grigensons with a couple shots near the goal mouth but is flattened once near the crease and again in the neutral zone.
Tied up on the PP by Foligno! (Foligno? Rankin?) Rankin. Finley and Jessiman drop the mitts after Hugh had a hulksmash shift preceding the latest Sens goal. End of 2, tied 2-2.
Amerks got a PP, as Hoffman was penalized for high-sticking... GOAL! 2-2! Rankin credited with the deflection! Flynn drops a pass to McNabb at the left point who's slap shot is deflected in by Rankin in front. Stevens thought it might've been Foligno in the slot. Finley and Jessiman would fight on the next draw. END OF 2ND PERIOD. 2-2. SHOTS: RCH 38 - BNG 27.
Wideman got two for hooking Sundher who was crashing the crease for a rebound... but GOAL! 3-2 BNG. Grant pots a SH breakaway, sliding one through Leggio's five-hole. Unassisted. It's like Brennan's afraid to take a penalty on the backcheck. Prevent the chance, don't expect Leggio to bail you out time after time.
Kept my eye on Girgs throughout the game. He had a rough night, physically. That was my first time seeing him so I'm sure you guys have a better grasp on his game than I do but he was pushed around quite easily tonight.
The Amerk that really stood out to me was TJ Brennan. Looked very fluid out there.
