It really is. I like to think I have a pretty discerning ear when it comes to music, and I usually try and avoid the catchy top 40 crap on the radio because it's just so bad (but catchy). This one got me, though.

Ungodly repetitive and annoying isn't catchy to my ears.

That song is the same 5 second clip (which is awful) replayed about 45 times. I don't get it. Even some reputable places have 'caved in' and loved it. I just don't get it. The hook is awful!

As a musician i will tell you the hook is genius, do i like the song? No. Is it genius based on simplicity and effectivnes, yes.

good luck with that. i just logged in so i could hide my birthday from being displayed. i could do without a barrage of hollow messages from people i barely keep in touch with. being an antisocial grouch is hard work.

Every year about a week after my birthday I go through the people who wrote on my wall and de-friend the ones who have no reason to say "Happy Birthday" to me.

I haven't logged on to Facebook in over a year. Apparently wishing someone a happy birthday on Facebook means a phone call is not necessary.

Heh. I should look into that.

That flood of messages is always so phony.

my birthday is private on facebook. It doesn't show up on people's notification. Only the people who actually know when my birthday is would say happy birthday.

I can't remember the last time I logged into facebook. Their constant barrage of e-mails about notifications pending is annoying as hell. As is their use of the users' information for profit.

I text people on their birthday.

I had not even thought about not having Facebook again until I read these last few messages, haha. I guess I used it less than I thought.

All my friends I actually hang out with text or call as normal. So, really, all I am missing out on is ogling my female friends looking slutty at parties or on Spring Break. However, most of them are transitioning to the "becoming a fat housewife" portion of their lives, so not much is being missed there either.

Unplug, my friends!

speaking of birthdays - im going to pretend that the lockout ending and my birthdate are totally unrelated. (but we can all see the obvious causation, right?)

Your birthday clearly holds some wonderful properties. You need to bottle and sell that ****.

Happy birthday! Fancy beer and jazz records forthcoming.

That the lockout is over and.....that she was cooking me bacon.

Isn't life wonderful?

March 5 is setting up to be possibly the greatest release date of video games ever for me, outside of maybe the glory that was 9.9.99.

MLB 13: The Show
South Park: The Stick of Truth
SimCity

And I'm expecting Franchise Hockey Manager will be around that time frame too. Throw in the first StarCraft II expansion and Bioshock Infinite later in the month and I may not see daylight in March.

Call me when the Grand Theft Auto 5 release date is announced. As surely that day will be ions better than March 5th.
