PES 2013 trailer should be coming out today, here's a teaser released earlier:

Edit: and here it is:

First Messi, now Ronaldo. Konami is getting all the superstar coverboys while Fifa is stuck with the Kakas and Wilshires

I'll buy Fifa again on release day and rent PES later. That's what I've been doing for like 5 years now.

Pretty sure they're gonna have Messi on 13 since he just signed with them.

Ah my mistake, thought it was Ronaldo since they have a whole trailer dedicated to him.

No he meant Missi's on FIFA13. He's already on the cover of FIFA Street. Which actually could mean that the cover curse is already on?

Here' more info on PES 2013: https://www.konami-pes2012.com/eu/en...-improvements/

All of that sounded promising, especially the goalie part. Now what we all really want to know, what teams are licensed? If ManU isn't, I won't even think about buying it.

Title is : FIFA vs PES 13

You had to expect some kind of confrontation between both games

I expect to see impression from people who've played the game or info on both games, not just random "FIFA all the way YO!/PES RULES!" kind of posts.

Players should just avoid being on the cover of any EA related games. It's almost science at this point.

I just have to wonder. How in the world does EA afford to have licenses for leagues around the world, including the second-tier leagues in some countries?

I think in addition to having the money it's also a question of being there first. I recall seeing in some interview Konami saying e.g. about the EPL that they'll get it when it comes available.

How much have you played FIFA 13? What changes are there in it compared to 12?

I just wasted 1:21 of my life. As usual videogametrailers to sports games is useless. Doesnt show us anything specific at all. Just a bunch of "This years edition will be good". Marketing at its lowest level. But then again, im sure alot of 12 year old kids are now hyped. Maybe this bs works on them.

If they want impress me, make a video where they one of the developers talk about the some changes and show gameplay as en example. Way more informative and better than that.
As usual it will most likely be FIFA > PES as its been this entire next gen era.

The better videos usually start arriving around E3.

Bump! EA released the first FIFA 13 trailer at E3:

Looks like the same game as last year to me (first touch has been there for years and you can already do the "tactical freekick" they showed on the video). Hopefully they didn't **** up Career Mode like they did in '11.

So they're basically improving on what they did last year. Sounds good enough for me.

I can't imagine the cost is high for the second-tier leagues.

I don't even care for major improvements, though human-controlled defence needs to be made easier and tougher, just fix some of the little issues that make it hard to enjoy FIFA 12 for those who dig into some of the game modes.

Pro clubs is tarnished this year by a) cheat players , b) CPU anys played with a back five and defensive tactics destroy the game and c) maxed out/cheat human goalkeepers can be absurdly good (as in teleporting a few yards within the blink of an eye to make some impossible saves).

Oh and scale down manager mode, it's outgrown the scope of such a mode in a console game, remember most people aren't going to play it with a mouse and load times on an XBOX aren't what they are on a good PC either. If I play FIFA I don't want to spend an hour and a half on the bloody pre-season.
