Scott Burnside reporting on TSN 1290 with H & L that GJ will be attendance tonight as will........................Anthony Leblanc formerly of Ice Edge Holdings. Burnside saying Leblanc is GJ's business partner in this deal.
Business partner... This is why we waited over a year for Jamison to get his money together and this is the best he can do?
I wouldn't feel all warm and fuzzy if I was on the council and was looking down at the audience and saw Leblanc sitting there in his green "5 games in Sask or bust" T-shirt.
I know Clark blocks people who send her rude messages, but I sent her one tweet in response her tweet about the vote being 4-2 or 3-3 I asked "@clarkjv Can't council pick someone to fill Lieberman's seat for the rest of the year? " That got me blocked.
My location says "North America" and my profile says: Financial professional looking for new opportunities. Opinionated about politics, Cleveland sports, and hockey.
Just find it funny that she is so on edge that she would block someone over that.
Implications that if council votes "NO" then the team is folded almost instantly? What if a labour deal is struck, and the season starts sometime in the early year? Where's Phoenix?
If there's a "No" vote, I would imagine that the NHL would continue to own the team for the season (if there's a season) and jettison the team to PKP or the Seattle group ASAP after the Coyotes are done the season.
Yup, Burnside claims Leblanc is Jamison's business partner and will be at the meeting tonight. Panhandling on Yonge Street for the past 3 years finally bears some fruit.
This is great. After a year of people asking who is in his investment group, Jamison digs up an IEH guy as his business partner? You couldn't write a soap opera script this funny.

I am pretty sure that Clark was hoping for players to be there to buffer them against what is likely to be a rather unpleasant session. I expect that Clark, Martinez, Frate and Knaack will be on the receiving end of a lot of public flak. I think that we might actually see a Joyce Clark meltdown tonight.
its absolutely criminal that a lame duck session can ruin a city and then walk away ater leaving the city in this bad of shape. The people voted against these fools who are doing whatever they can to earn their vote out.
Were you around when some 20000 people from Winnipeg watched the other Council vote in spring 2010? That was actually "exciting" - people had Glendale council viewing parties (ie. did shots everytime little Logan was mentioned, or that crazy old guy in the US flag t-shirt said something funny)
