He was on and off in the first and 2nd imo. May have been due to frustration from ref's calls and some unlucky bounces, but wasn't his best performance by any means.

Good game! Was a beaut shot at the end. He deserved that with the other one being taken away. Anyone else feel the JS is about to go beast in the AHL seems like he's getting used to na ice now

Haven't seen any replays but it sure looked like Silf tipped that other one in too...he got jobbed tonight.

No doubt he is feeling more comfortable as well and is getting better and better each game now. Glad he is with Hoffman now too, they could have some nice chemistry

I need a replay of that Silfv goal. My stream cut out just before it.

Indeed! Stone looked good in flashes again too - very smart player.

should be noted that syracuse lost, so we're 2 pts behind them with a game in hand (also tied with wbs with 2 games in hand)

Next game against Syracuse. They seem to be the team to beat in the division so hopefully the boys bring it on again.

Didn't watch the 1st period but the only time I noticed stone tonight was when he scored. Which wasn't to spectacular (pretty slow coming down with the punch) but I liked that he kept going to the net. But hr clearly has a ways to go with his skating

He certainly could do with getting quicker but I am surprised at what an intelligent player he is - he makes great passes and seems to be in good position a lot.

I think his IQ is what allows him to succeed without great wheels. A rookie who has had 2 injuries so far and is almost a point a game isn't bad - especially one who apparently can't skate that well.

the one thing i noticed about petersson tonight was on a 3-on-1 (i think it was the 3rd period, might have been late 2nd), he was the leading guy, and he shot glove high with two guys coming in looking for a rebound. He missed the net.

A smarter hockey player would have taken a hard low shot, prayed for the 5 hole, but at least you'd get a rebound if it was saved.

It should also be noted that if Lawson didn't **** the bed and blow a 5-0 lead, we would be ahead of them right now.

I dont think its just Petersson. We had a couple 3 on 2's, and the puck carrier would try and carry it all the way into the circle and wrist it on net. Its frustrating because this is a pro team, but they are not doing the basics. The puck carrier should go wide opening space for the trailer, or use a drop pass and hit him. Its really simple stuff anybody can do if their head is up. I think we could have generated 3-4 more scoring chances on those plays alone.

Pens are hungry, got off to a real slow start losing first 4 games while 'Cuse is still on 'honeymoon' mode..

I don't know if teams can make trades until a new CBA is in place, but I could see the sens trading Petersson. He hasn't been very effective this season and he is plummeting down the depth chart. I don't think he saw the ice in the third period.
