Best non-goalie on the team so far this season.

bsens really starting to work their way up the standings. Sitting two points back of syracuse (aka norfolk) and 4th in the conference.

also, how about Brust in abbotsford?
say what you want about the brustheads (lookin at you main), but that guy can play.

You can see the boys are really having fun out there. Lehner is just beast, the defense is getting tighter and the boys are finding goals from everyone.

Wiercioch and Claesson have been rock solid on defense all year so far. Extremely impressed with both of them. Wier had a monster game.

Brust is on a very good defensive team. Not taking away from his accomplishments, but lets not start calling him the next Roy.

No Bingo hockey 'til friday. Ugh. It's the only thing making this lockout somewhat tolerable.

Just got back from the game. Sabres fan, obviously, but I go watch the B-Sens here and there.

You guys have some real nice youngsters but, IMO, none better than Lehner. He is as good of an AHL goalie as I have seen play. (I am 45 years old)

What is Ottawa's plans with this kid? Obviously, I realize he has to play in Binghamton because of the lockout but I have to think Ottawa is drooling over the thoughts of him carrying the load for you guys. He is more than ready to take the next step once this stupid lockout is over.

Hey, since you live in Bingo, hopefully you can answer this.

Do they sell jerseys at their mall store besides the black ones?

I was thinking of taking a trip and getting one red and one black one.
The webstore only sells the black one.

Thank you for the kid words.

We have unbelievably high expectations for him and for good reason. We expect him to play the full season in Bingo this year and to be the back-up or possibly steal the goaltending position next year and see where it goes with him and Anderson in net from there. However, in 1-2 years he should be our goaltender for the foreseeable future.

If he continues his terrific play this year and the lock-out is lifted, one would definitely have to think he'd get some games in before Bishop.

GMBM told Lehner last year that it is up to him to fight Bishop for the role of back-up. Bishop having just signed a 1 year 1 way contract.

Coach Richards was brought in and one of the goals was to give Lehner the bulk of the work. Last year Coach K gave a majority to the other (who's name escapes me atm).

Best thing for Lehner is for the lock out to go all season so there is no distraction of playing in the AHL over the NHL.

Next year will be Anderson/Lehner and then Lehner/backup for the foreseeable future.

I am pretty sure they do. The name of the mall is the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City, NY. you should call the mall and find out before making that trip or I could check for you sometime this week and let you know.

I am very envious of your guys goalie situation for the future. i suppose it's about time they landed some real talent there as it seemed to me if you guys were always a goalie away from making some serious runs.

Coach MacLean made it sound like yesterday that the better goalie of the two guys in Bingo right now would be the back up in Ottawa if the lockout ends this year. I'm not convinced of this but it'd be hard to turn Lehner down if he continues to play like this into Christmas.

The org clearly has very expectations for him and so far he's probably surpassed them. They literally told him to go dominate the AHL this year, and that's exactly what he's doing.

Well, once Lehner gets up there it is my opinion that he will unseat Craig Anderson in a blink of an eye. i know Anderson had a decent season last year but I think that is about the best you can expect from him.

Lehner is something special. He is so effortless and technically sound. He is going to be the backbone of your franchise for the next dozen or so years.

Bishop will end up being great trade bait. Could possibly land you something real nice in return if he gets some time in the AHL and showcases himself. I just don't see him being in Lehner's class but, what young goalie is?

Pretty much this. With the best goalie and defense man in the league, NHL should watch out
