when i say skill i also mean the ability to position yourself correctly, be able to see the puck, disrupt offenses from a dump and chase game(which broduer was known for before the dumb trapezoid rule), rebound control, recovery, ect. not trying to get into it again, but in my opinion, broduer is better at all these things.

Right now, Lundqvist positions himself better than Brodeur. I don't really think it's close, since you can see all the goals he has allowed this season, where it looked like he wasn't even close, and tried to make those saves from the 90s that just don't work anymore.

Defensively there isn't much room for improvement, but you haven't seen half of what this kid can do offensively. I think he could be as good as Del Zotto offensively if he gets the freedom.

Definitely agree. Although, if he's put on the pp, that willl take away from ES and SH time

Which wouldn't be bad, since we now have a healthy Staal, and hopefully Sauer or McIlrath to cover for him

Pretty much anything is better than Stu Bickel and his three minutes of ice time.

Devils fans were endlessly amused watching the Rangers try to win that series with four and a half defencemen.

Eh, the Rangers pretty much did that the entire season. They were just clearly getting tired and more tired throughout the playoffs.

Maybe next ye... forget it.
