Most underrated (on HF) players ON YOUR TEAM

For the Devils I would say Elias he was in the top 10 scoring last year. When we had Parise it was Parise and Kovalchuk as 1 and 2 even though Elias had more points than Parise and was just as good defensively.

I would throw in Andy Greene for the Devils.

There was a very, very noticeable difference when he came back into the lineup this season.

There are some unsung heroes (Polak, Sobotka) on the Blues, but I wouldn't call them underrated by HF, just not really discussed. The only one that slightly fits the bill is David Perron. It seems as though everyone knows he's a good player, but I've seen multiple threads where people have said he is soft or has injury problems, when really it's just been one injury. Someone might be able to come up with another. Steen maybe?

I don't know if I agree with that. I don't think Sens fans overrate him at all. He is in fact that 2nd youngest player of all time behind Orr to win the Norris trophy and he got 78 points last year as a defenseman...unless Sens fans start saying things like "he's a lock for the Hall of fame" I don't see how he could be overrated...

Anyway don't mean to derail, let's get back to it.
