Their problems start and end there.

Any night they can beat a top team, but they have problems putting 2-3 good performances back to back.
Well yes you are inconsistent, but the latter statement is untrue. They have just 4 wins against PEI, Moncton and Halifax, and haven't done great against Quebec, BLB or even a midpack like Victo for example... I don't think you can expect to beat a top team on any night with the defensive trouble they have....

Since Dupont coming, we beat Halifax once and lost twice.
So far thsi season the Titan are two wins and two losses against Moncton.
And we won PEI 6-1 the other day in Charlottetown.
PEI give us a fit for one reason or another, but not Moncton.

Since Dupont came in, this team is still inconsistent, but much less than prior.
They are working on that.

So you are inconsistent on a much less consistent basis.

will you stop the nonsense....your a friggin 13th place team, you have never been in the top 10 this year, yet you talk as if your right up there ready to take the league over. Upsets happen in the playoffs. No matter what happens, if you win a playoff series, it will be an upset!!! Your team is not very good. Admit it, say it...it's very refreshing to admit the truth!!!

do yourself and your beloved Titan a favor - talk less and win more Then we might pay attention to what your babbling about.

Oh is that better terminology?

Bathurst had a 5 game winning streak and a 3 game losing streak I believe since Dupont took over. Only Bathurst fans can say if the effort level has been more consistent. I know your answer to that, so I won't bother asking.

The rest of the world can only look at standings and stats when determining whether or not the Titan have improved under Dupont. Right now there is little improvement in that regard. Only winning on a more consistent basis will convince readers of these boards that Bathurst has improved. A 5 game winning streak is a good start. Keep it going.

I concur!

Walking the concourse and up and down the stairs in the rink Sunday night and starting back at 8:00 am on Monday morning surely delivered a message.
But it does take time to erase bad habits.

Dupont is doing an excellent job but a lot remains to be done.

The only question for me is that it will have to be done prior to the playoffs.
At that point, every team needs to win against any team in order to win the Cup.
If we happen to face Halifax in the 2nd round, it will be fun to watch....

I think if they make the 2nd round, they'll see at least 4 playoff games.

i just love the way he assumes they will be playing in the 2nd round. have they shown anything yet this year to indicate they would be playing in the 2nd round?

I also just love the way you discard them after the first round...

Hockey is being played on the ice and this is where we will both see how they fare.

exactly, and how have they fared on the ice so far? Stop talking like they are a top 5 team. if they win in the first round, it will be an upset.
Their in 13th place - can you see that?

By the end of the season, the Titan will be better than 13th....

The question is how well they will position themselves for the playoffs.

They are better than a 13th team is....can't you see it?

How many times have you seen the Titan play this season?

I am not spending my time argueing about Baie-Comeau as I only saw them a couple of times this season...
I suggest you do the same .

Why should I be ashamed?

After all I am part of the fans, not of the ones opting out.

Last night was a pretty good game for both teams and I am sure the fans had their money's worth.

Anyone here know the definition of beating a dead horse? Seems to be a pretty common occurrence throughout this thread ... It's repetitive and starting to get annoying.

Yes, chsb made some questionable predictions in the summer about the Titan, and even knocking a few teams down in the process ... Hasn't exactly worked out for him, I get it ... Bathurst's season is not as good as some had hoped and currently sit in 13th ... But is there really a need to bring this up every game?

We've got people chirping chsb after every game and even digging up old posts as to remind everyone like the poster has accomplished something ... I get into arguments with him quite a bit, look at all my summertime posts, and I'm not a saint, but this mindless dribble by people it seems who can't spell or type, we see now is growing old ... If you want to have a discussion with someone, talk about hockey and have a debate, not bringing back the dead in January with no real basis to your posts...

The quality of posts in the Q board have taken a hit it seems over the last few months, which makes for a boring board ... And I'm sure the hawks are carefully watching my posts, probably telling me to stop trying to play "policeman" ... Duly noted, but this is me personally being tired of the crap that gets thrown (chsb's) Bathurst's way ...

Seems to have occurred again but can we "let it go"? Seriously .. It might be hard to have a conversation with him, but the amount of "hehehe titan suck" (or something of that ilk) has got to go ..

/Rant, happy Friday everyone
