Haha, Anisin suddenly isn't the best shooter on Dynamo and looks for AO
Edit: and Platt with a great wrist shot. AO -1.

Ovy didn't score a point, but Minsk defenders were so busy with him in front of the net they left Novak wide open. 1-1.
And a bad goal allowed by Volkov. 2-1 Minsk.

Edit: and a one back - 2-2 lol! Review...

Tied up. Was Ovechkin on for the 2nd goal against? Looked like his line mates were on...

I think not. It would be 2 min shift for that line.

Ah, there it is, Ovy's 1st big hit in the KHL

Thats how Ovechkin introduces himself.

Another PP for Dynamo... Moscow... So confusing having teams with the same exact name. WTF is up with that?

Also what the hell is that commercial with that guy singing and then same box with a smoking rifle casing?

There goes the PP.

Ovi with good through the leg shot, didn't get enough on it was a little low.

In CCCP, teams were based on certain professional unions: SKA and CSKA on army, Dynamo on police, Lokomotiv on railroad workers etc. So there were Dynamo, Torpedo etc. in many cities. I know it's weird

That commercial... well...

Just his Dynamo number.

Ovie looks good in the 2nd period. But now he failed on a breakaway.

Damn lucky back check, if that guys not there, Ovechkin had the goalie beat.... Sooo close.

Can I call Dyanmo Moscow the Moscow Capitals?

To the PP for Ovi.

Terrible PP! But Dynamo Msk (aka Musora) scores just as the powerplay expires. 3-2.

Puck retrieval is terrible. Ovechkin screening the goalie is under utilizing him.

Ovechkin trying deke's now instead of just shooting.

That was a dive. Pathetic.

Yeah, Anisin is a bit of diver and overprotected by refs. Even if he's 5'4 and 155 pounds. But isn't a skilled dwarf amazing to watch?

Kvapil on PP rebound, 4-2.

Several Dynamo defensemen are injured, thus problems with the 1st pass. All Ovechkin's linemates look for him too much IMO.

Hey whats the ad with the guy singing then theres a black box thing and looks like a rifle case with smoke coming out of it? Earlier it was playing every commercial break.

Ovechkin's number was 32 for Dynamo before he ever played in the NHL.

Me neither.
A fantastic pass by Novak for a breakaway, Gynge can't capitalize.

And another PPG, again without AO. A nice combination, but Minsk defence fell asleep.
