Sedin's are famous for doing almost the exact same play except they ice it and the other brother darts in after it. Also, Giroux is not the best in the league.
I don't even like the Canucks but this is more impressive imo. The angle at 35 seconds shows how amazing that play really was.

Giroux had almost 30 more points than Datsyuk last year.
Datsyuk hasn't had a better season over Giroux since 2009-2010.
Datsyuk=declining
Giroux=ascending

- Datsyuk hasn't played a full season since 2010, you can't compare half season to full season.
- Datsyuk has averaged over a PPG since the lockout (including his injury seasons)
- Points don't tell the entire picture as Datsyuk is better defensively than Giroux, and probably offensively they are even.
- Datsyuk was in 6th place in points leading up to his injury last year, and 4th place the year before before he got injured. He obviously would have kept this ground in the standings.

tbh, he was prolly just trying to get it in deep and it bounced off favorably, which led to the rebound
He told one of the announcers that he was testing the boards at their morning skate in Tampa and noticed the puck bounced that way off of them. Everything, including having the goalie rebound it off his pad to Hartnell was on purpose by Giroux
