Jeez, these guys have a gimmick for every single whistle. It's impressive.

I'd love to see him play more with RNH and Eberle as that could be a strong top line and help balance out our attack more at the NHL level.
Yep. He looked good with Hall as well though.

Harti could be huge for us..

I'm expecting Riley Nash to score at least a hat-trick tonight.

I only caught the last 6-7 minutes of the 1st, looks like we were fortunate to come out unscathed.

I think he's one of those guys that will just battle hard on the boards and consistently put up about 20 goals and 20 assists. He's never going to be a huge scoring power forward but he does all the little things out there that opens the ice up for his linemates.

I agree. He has that element that doesn't show up on the stat sheet, with the puck retrieval and the screens and such, ala Ryan Smyth in his prime. He has developed well.

You can't blame Renney for MPS' fear of contact. Haven't seen much improvement under Nelson, either.

He's been throwing the body all year, he's doesn't level people but he's being physical.

How many games have you guys watched this year?

Really liking the appreciation of the Barons shown in the Charlotte telecast.

They just said its the best team, and period they'd ever seen in their rink. They said it true. Basically like seeing an NHL club come to town.

But seriously, the Barons are better with the injuries and call ups. They're icing an AHL allstar club here.

In fairness, a lot of these would fall flat with only 12 people in the audience.

Yeah, we give up some serious scoring chances. Good period of hockey though.

Speaking of appreciating opponent, how good is Dalpe?

Looked good in 1st, heavy shot and strong stride had a couple chances.

Ever single GTD thread on here I see the same posts over and over again. "WTH MPS drove the net", "Thats what Paajarvi needs to do more of", "Good physical play by Paajarvi".

Its kinda funny actually how many posters have totally stereo typed him from a 30 game sample from last season.

Hearing two different telecasts simultaneously is throwing me off. I can keep track of our lineup but being that its nearly impossibe to hear the telecast I'm not following the Charlotte players as well.

BS. If I had a nickel for every time he took that floating wrister to avoid crashing the net, I could bridge that $182M gap between the NHL and the PA.

Around 10 games this season. Certainly enough to have an opinion on his start to the season.
