I've only watched Okposo when he plays the Flyers and from whatever highlights he finds his way into. I gotta go with Simmonds, he's solid defensively, great at forechecking, and is a great player to have in front of the goalie slamming home rebounds

Exhibit A as to how hockey doesn't matter on ESPN:
Last night an ESPN program was discussing how the Detroit Pistons needed a hero citing the heroes on the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. All this despite the Red Wings probably being the most succesful team in Detroit right now.
These guys don't really play similar games in my mind. That said, I think Okposo has a higher ceiling but I'm not sure he reaches it. I would take Simmonds.
I think Okposo has the higher ceiling for sure, but I give Simmonds a very slight edge right now only cause he had the better year last year. Though, to Okposo's credit, he started out the year very slow last year and even got put in the press box and then came back and had a career high in goals.
Voted even, but it's hard to say. If Simmonds can keep putting up the same numbers he did last year, I'd take him when you factor in grit/defensive play. But Okposo has more skill and a higher ceiling, and a has been more consitent production-wise thus far.
