I would rather be watching NHL action but AHL will have to do.

Its becoming more and more laughable the people who think Frattin isn't top six material. All he needs is a set up man and I bet he's good for 25 goals in the NHL. He's a sniper.

kadri would be perfect for him, elite playmaker with an elite shot, that is a deadly combo

But... but... he had Grabo as a center for a good portion of last season. Not sure what you're trying to say.

He had ALOT of chances would miss the net or hit posts, and IMO his speed down the wing and intensity stuck out over most the team. Just not a very defensive player.

I said it last season, even though he wasnt scoring, we have nobody on the team who will drive the net like he does to score - that used to be what Kulemin was needed to do but he doesnt anymore.

Scoring is natural to this guy, outside of lupul and kessel i dont think anyone else has his shot on the team and goal scoring ability/potential

i think Kadri - Grabo - Frattin should be an experiment line

A good portion? That's funny. Actually go back and look at when he DID play with Grabo towards the end of the year, they were great together and spent 80% of their shifts in the opposition zone. The guy was a rookie, how much of a stooge do you have to be to write him off based on that? He is destroying the AHL, he destroyed college, he has an NHL calibre shot and I'm convinced he can produce at that level.

I think JVR should be able to fit that bill as well, but with less intensity and better size. If Frattin, Kulemin, and JVR can all chip in at about a 20 goal pace it should add a huge extra dimension that was lacking to our offense last year. Kessel, Lupul, and Grabovski were our only real impact forwards, and none of them bring the element of size/intensity Frattin, JVR, and Kulemin can. I really am expecting Kulemin to bounce back to be a 20 goal guy this year.

I'd say the lines to start the year with no changes/trades will be:

Lupul-Bozak-Kessel
JVR-Grabo-Kulemin/Frattin/Macarthur
Kulemin/Macarthur-Mcclement-Frattin/Kulemin
Komarov-Steckel-Brown
Connolly, Lombardi

Kadri will be the first injury call-up, and if he performs well enough during his call-up could make a guy like Macarthur expendable around the trade deadline. This is all assuming the lockout will be resolved; we can hope it will be. Down the line we have other guys like Biggs and Ross who bring a heck of a lot of intensity with some scoring touch as well.

What extra dimension are you looking for? We were 10th in the league last season.

A real net presence; who on our team filled that role last year? As I said in my previous post, our only true impact players upfront last year were Kessel, Lupul, and Grabovski. Frattin, JVR, and Kulemin can all drive hard to the net and are hard to knock off the puck. If all three of those guys play the way they are capable of playing next season, it would be a huge boost to our forward group. Those types of players are hard to eliminate.

I'm a big Frattin fan but let's slow down. He's hardly "destroying" the AHL. 25pts in 29 games. I will say that he's looked great even without the puck though. Physical presence for sure.

Can't say I've watched either show. Probably seen tops 1 hour of that Drake show all time, maybe 3 hours or iCarly all time haha.

I've seen her on talk shows though and she seems cool.

Edit: Looked her up on Wikipedia and she is in the School of Rock. She is that band manager smart girl. Didn't know that but now that I think about it I can see it.
