The Calgary Flames would like to say a few things before making our selection. Yes, we want to be one of those teams that takes forever to make their pick, thus making the draft last longer than it should, and we are very aware that no one likes when teams do this.

First off, **** you Gary Bettman and Bill Daly. You ruin the game of hockey.
Second, we'd like to congratulate the Los Angeles Kings on becoming a very overrated team.
Third, we're the 4th straight Alberta team to get the 1st overall pick. Just something funny I noticed recently.

Are the 2nd round+ picks just temporary right now? I sent in a list and I don't have any of the guys I wanted. Obviously it's not the end of the world, and I really do appreciate everyone who has helped with the draft but I was just wondering.
