I'm reminded of an old joke:

A husband and wife have seen their ardor dwindle. Every time he's game to go, she begs off having a headache. After weeks of this, one night before bed, the wife finds the husband in the bathroom mashing up aspirin in a mortar and pestle.
"What's that for?" she asks.
"For your headache," he replies.
At this point, he takes and powders his manhood with the mashed aspirin and says, "So, do you want this orally or as a suppository?"

Yep, it's not uncommon. Some people cannot take medicine orally due to age or illness and some drugs need to be more localized.

The internet bounced me around yesterday to this photograph which has made my scalp tingle every time I've looked at it, though it's innocent. I've looked at it a lot because of the weird uncomfortable feeling it produces.

Yeah. Never do a Google Image search for "trypophobia."

How'd you make out, Myllz? Personally, it doesn't affect me aside from the "Wow, that's nasty looking" when it's applied to flesh.

Yeah, the skin/flesh ones were pretty gross. Other than that it didn't bother me at all.

A good portion of those are photoshopped. They've been staples on 4chan for years.

I don't have a physical reaction to pictures of skin holes or honeycomb and I enjoy drawing clusters of shapes... it's just that lotus. I love the flower. What weird brain wiring.

Miserable indeed. I'm about half better today, don't feel like jumping off a cliff anymore.

In the midst of my withdrawal, I got a job offer, accepted it and notified my boss I am leaving Last day here is the 28th and first day at new place is Jan 2nd.

I feel really bad leaving because my boss is awesome. Greatest boss I've had and maybe ever will have.

But nothing can beat a 3-minute commute

I'm sad and depressed now as the lust of my life has departed seeking greener pastures under the bright Vegas lights. Now I'm forced to trawl the brass pole palaces seeking solace in the nubile arms of other wanton wenches.

Was talking to the GF about a couple positions that I had found, and in the middle of that conversation I get an email from a recruiter about a potentially very decent opportunity. Weird.

I don't see how those are related unless the recruiter offered you a job as a porn star.

If I ever become somebody who holds valuable information and you need to torture me to obtain it, just force me to watch basketball on TV. I won't make it out of the first quarter.

I'd rather watch soap operas.

I've been working on my 'big' story again. I've had it in my head for 14 years, and it seems like it's time to actually put it down on paper and see what comes of it. I have decided to make it into 3 [or more] young adult books instead of 1 adult, though. One would be far too many words.
