I couldn't tell if those OKC jerseys were black or dark blue, was confused who was who when I first tuned in.

And that Durant crossover/layup to end the 3rd was beautiful.

That's an extremely close call, but pretty sure it hit glass first.

The Heat have been on the edge lately....Milwaukee, Cleveland, SA's B-team and Brooklyn the other night. All pulled out in the last few mins of the game.

The Knicks go into Miami well rested by Miami goes into Thursday pissed after a bad loss.

Interesting.

No, Knicks beat Wizards by 20 +, while Miami lost. If it wasn't obvious now, it sure is now that the Knicks are our new East champions.

If you've ever been to OKC, you'd understand why they are called the Thunder.

Hack-a-Dwight works once again.

I don't remember it being this bad with Shaq. Howard isn't help them at all on defense either so maybe it's best to just put him on the bench once they start hacking him. Bring him back when it's under two minutes.

So will Kobe go off on his teammates or whatever?

Looking at the box score Houston got some good pts out of their bench

Had no idea Lakers lost. Last time I checked the score, they were leading comfortably in the 3rd. Rockets manage a comeback with an ugly shooting night from Harden.

There has to be some worry with the Lakers. Yes, they don't have Nash, but they were still suppose to turn it around under D'Antoni. Maybe they peaked with Bickerstaff.

ESPN.com also confirmed that there are no trades currently in the works, but GM Mitch Kupchak has told Gasol's representatives that "if Gasol is unable to adjust to D'Antoni's system, the team will have no choice but to search for possible trade scenarios."
That's nice.

Also, without Nash, what exactly is D'Antoni's system?

Awards:
Kobe is doing the ball-handling, and has done a good job. But at this point, Dwight's free throw shooting is negating whatever they want to do, should have been a sure win tonight and he chucked it away at the line.

Oh you'd be surprised at some of the offers. Some GM's are such fanboys of certain players, they'll take said player on even if they are on a bad contract and aging.

I wonder if OKC looks for a C with more offensive capabilities at the deadline. With the picks they get from the Harden trade, they won't be lacking any fire power to pull the trigger.

And what makes it even worse, is that as a Rockets fan, I'd probably be okay with just about any trade

Lots of losing and not enough winning.

I believe the Lakers record was around 75% with Bernie

After NBA commissioner David Stern retires in February of 2014, his next stop will be the Hall of Fame in Springfield. Congrats, David!!
