No I don't watch any games, not a big basketball fan at all. I am aware that many of their games are pretty close though and they will quite often be leading a game at past the halfway point but can't hold it together.

Not sure since I'm not a fan but they seem to be 1 good player away from having a winning record this year. Easier said than done though.

Edit: I didn't know marmaduke was a show, thought it was just a comic in the paper.

I know enough basketball to know he is the worst 1st overall pick ever. I'm guessing there are many players picked the same year that are better than him?

Oh.

Not the worst ever, but there are definitely players who have turned out better than Bargnani. LaMarcus Aldridge, Brandon Roy, Kyle Lowry, Rudy Gay, Rajon Rondo, etc.

Going back to 2000 in my opinion, Greg Oden, Andrew Bogut, Kwame Brown, and Kenyon Martin. The worst being Kwame.

Did a quick wikipedia on each.

Oden seems to have run into a lot of injury problems which really hurt his chances.

Bogut just sucked.

Brown just sucked even more.

Martin used to have stats that seemed decent enough but not as good as you would want.

Didn't know the 1st overall in basketball was such a hit and miss, I thought it was the most reliable to be a really good player out of all the sports. I think I'm going to have to change that to hockey.

I think I put 150 on Oshawa on a gut feeling. Why, are they winning by a lot already or something?

I'd say hockey is the best chance to get a player that will play and be good, but not the most reliable for that star player. I'd say that goes to football. Basketball is tough because you can't keep them away from the top guys like you can in hockey. If you draft a centre first overall, at some point in his rookie year he's gotta go head to head with Dwight Howard. Or a shooting guard against Dwayne Wade. Or a small forward against LeBron. They can get shellshocked and probably lose a lot of confidence.

Just flipped to the Windsor Kitchener game. Terrible camera angle. It's almost as if you are watching the game from directly above.

Edit: Actually they just need to zoom in a little more. They zoom in a little occasionally and it looks a lot better when they do.

Double Edit: Windsor just scored

Still plenty of time left for those teams to turn it around. I know you should never count out London for one. The good old days of Schremp and Perry (and the others). They could be down 4 in the 3rd and they would win it by 2

Edit: I was watching the Knights game and I knew they were dominating the play but losing, didn't realize the shots were so lopsided. London leading the shots 15-4 but losing 2-1.
