I think Manchester keeping their team together will be the only positive. I only hope the Calder Cup playoffs are shown on TV
Agree completely. The kids playing a whole season together will only benefit them in next season. They are getting a chance to form bonds and chemistry that they would not normally get the time to do with some being recalled and sent down. It gave the kids some stability which should only help.
Don't get me wrong I loved the guy when he was here, he really seemed to click with Ziggy. He hasn't been all that productive, other then when he was the go to guy with Mario hurt, and was making quite a bit of dinero. If we could have him back at a cheaper price I'd welcome him back even though he is injury prone.
Don't get me wrong I loved the guy when he was here, he really seemed to click with Ziggy. It's just that in the past 3 seasons he's played in a high of what 50 games? He hasn't been all that productive, and was making quite a bit of dinero.
I really liked Straka too. I think the team really lit up when he was healthy and played. I loved watching him, I found him to be a positive addition to the Kings.
They just had a series of unfortunate events(player wise)
When Straka came here he was a major offensive spark. He was hurt when he came here and he had surgery during the season and never really got his legs back to game shape when he came back. What I'm trying to say is I think we didn't even see the best of Straka and were not paying him that much because the pens are. I would love to see him back and if he's on a line with Frolov and a top notch free agent(Palffy, Demitra) then he will excel.
