Stoked for Barber next week. I think the event is becoming one of the more prestigious races on the Indycar Schedule; Marco has this one- He's always fast at Barber.

1. Marco
2. Power
3.Hinch
I'll be attendance for the entire weekend.

Have a good time. But don't take it too hard when Marco disappoints you.

Sorry guys...it was an incredibly busy weekend for me. About to work on finishing my writeup. here's some "Cool Moment" highlights though...

1. I got to meet Bo Jackson
2. hanging out with Justin Wilson in his hauler, shooting the breeze for about 20 minutes today.
3. Getting a hug from Tristan Vautier
4. Watching the haze burn off on friday morning
5. Post race with Tag in his hauler, chatting as he cleaned his helmet

I'm loving this new car more and more each time I watch a race. Really enjoying Long Beach so far.

The cars are excellent, but I'm not a big fan of the rear pods. It was fantastic to see Takuma get a victory, been watching that guy race for 11 years now. In the BAR Honda it was always obvious he had talent, but that car was so inconsistent. Great to see him in a good ride.

Takuma has always been one of those drivers who manages to keep me on the edge of my seat, dating back to his F1 days. I never know what to expect when he's running up front. While I do like Dario, I was gutted that Takuma didn't win the 500 last year. I got up and started applauding when he won this one.

On a side note...

How about AJ Foyt Racing getting back to victory lane?

Anyone planning on seeing Turbo? I'm kinda curious to see if this movie helps the series. They have all kinds of Turbo stuff on shop.indycar.com now.

I'm going to be out of the house tomorrow and will miss the race, is there somewhere I can watch an extended recap(not the 30-second TV bit) on the Indycar site? Was perusing it earlier but didn't come across anything like that.

It's possible that it's uploaded to YouTube in full over the next few days. IndyCar has been doing that themselves and for a race this good, I'd think they have to.

Hell of a race. Hinchcliffe earned that one, outsmarted Sato with all that blocking. Of course Sato would go to the outside to block and the dive back inside was an amazing pass.

Definitely one of the best road course races in series history today. Andretti (both Marco and the team) is looking really strong.

Indy should be a good one again this year.

What a terrific race today. Congrats to the mayor. It's amazing how competitive the series is. Hoping to see a great 500!

Terrific move by Hinchcliffe at the end there, and a great race all around.

I still hope for Indycar to eventually return to its glory days of the 90s... the product on the track has been pretty entertaining so far this year. Just wish the cars looked a little sexier.

Ahh yes, longing for the good old days when it was truly the month of May.

Ed Carpenter on pole for the 500. Hell of a run.

I was also really impressed with Munoz, but if he drives like that in the race, there's no way in hell he's going to finish. Bit too aggressive.

The way Munoz drove those qualifying runs reminded me of one of his countrymen. Worked for that guy once, but I don't think Munoz will win it this year. He's one for the future.

Congrats to Ed Carpenter.

Always cool to see David slay Goliath.
