I was at Pole Day and the lines Munoz was taking were unreal... Not trying to draw a lofty style comparison, and even though I never saw Senna Race, he was exhibiting Senna Like car control...you could tell during qualifying he was teetering on the precipice of unworldy control and compete disaster

I like seeing impressive rookies (who doesn't), but Munoz worries me. I'm a bit fearful he hasn't quite enough respect for the track and his fellow drivers. He's teetering on creating a nascar style "big one" with his driving. Somebody needs to remind him...to finish first, first you must finish.

I have visions of a Kevin Cogan front row start in 1982 when he wiped out Foyt and Andretti on lap one.

Foyt: That Damn Coogan

Ryan Briscoe is the modern day Kevin Cogan.

Vitor Meira was this generation's Raul Boesel.

Leaving out for Indy in about an hour.... Sorry I haven't been around as much. Life's been in the way.

That was the greatest finish I've ever seen (in any form of motorsport) in the Lights race.

EDIT: Here's the finish:

How they didn't wreck three wide in 3 and 4 is beyond me.

I still like this 2006 Indy 500 finish. Especially listening to the announcers on this version. LoL!

Did anyone watch the Greg Moore special on Sportsnet? It was really well done, it was about Hinch and Greg and how Hinch looked up to Greg growing up. Dario was on it, too.

Wish I got Sportsnet. Greg was my second favorite driver (after Zanardi) growing up.

AJ Allmendinger also had a terrific race. He looked like a possible winner for a while. I'd like to thank whoever it was that engineered the Allmendinger for Danica trade with nascar. That was an absolute steal.

The place went absolutely nuts when everyone realized TK was going to win. The cafeteria in the Media center went nuts at the end of the Lights race on Friday though~!

So what'd everyone think of the doubleheader? I liked it, gave me more to look forward to for today after yesterday's race came to an end. Plus, we got the third first-time winner in the series this season! I'm loving this season. I like seeing these teams like Schmidt-Hamilton Motorsports, Foyt Racing, and Dale Coyne Racing get wins.

Already got my seats for Texas Motor Speedway next weekend. It can't get here fast enough.

I liked it, today was the better race of the two. This has been a great season, it's odd to tune in for a race not having the slightest idea who's going to win. There's only a handful of full time drivers who I think can't win (Tags , Saavedra, Viso). Everyone else has ran well enough at some point this season or has a track record of winning that I think a win for them could be on the cards at some point.

I hated seeing AJ not complete one lap over both days after a great run at Indy. I also hate att uverse. But I'm loving the series this year. Most competitive season in a looong time.

I think I have to pick Viso, Vautier, (and after Sunday) possibly Jakes for the next first-time winner.

That post sure looks good right now.

Attended Indy, had a lot of fun. Everyone in turn 3 was very happy for Kanaan.

Next first-time winner I think is Kimball. Although I think it'll be awhile (now having posted that he'll lap the field at Texas).
