I'll be defense and goalies for the whole league......
All we need is forwards
Nah, you aren't doing both, I already PMed IR about being a d-man or goalie agent. (I only want to sign a forward, so I think it would be best if I didn't negotiate with myself)
Everyone make sure you're sitting down for this news.... but we have decided to waive Matt Hunwick. I can't wait for someone to claim him just to make me mad. Also we are listening on Hejda, Jones, Parenteau and Giguere along with Zanon and Mitchell.
''A needed move for our organization, Scott just did'nt fit here. We do wish him the best but do not wish to thank him for his years of services. That is all.''
On another (slightly more serious) note, we have now received TWO offers for Evgeni Malkin that are somewhat within reason of consideration. Keep em coming, I'm enjoying the discussions, even if he probably won't be moved.

The Anaheim Ducks have re-signed forwards Andrei Loktionov and Erik Condra. Loktionov signed a two years contract worth $750,000 per season while Condra signed a one year contract worth $700,000.

Well, as soon as free agency will start, his NMC will kick in so unless you plan to trade him before tomorrow, trade discussions are kinda pointless at this point.

Hey, if the right offer comes in, who knows!
Seriously though. GM here tonight, lets talk trade.
At this point, we are not planning to do a splash in free agency. We might only sign a depth defenseman to complete our roster.
We are still willing to discuss trades :
1) We could trade one or two of our actual top 6 forwards, top prospect Jonathan Drouin and our 2014 1st round pick if we were able to land a young proven top line forward (27 years old or less).
2) Jonas Hiller remains available. We are ready to take a lesser veteran goalie back but something substantial will have to be added.
ALL MOVES MUST BE SOMEWHAT REALISTIC. Washington will not trade Ovechkin, Pittsburgh will not trade Crosby, etc. The commissioners hold the power to veto any ridiculous trades.
So it's realistic that Pittsburgh trades one of the best players on the planet... because they're tired of winning?
