Loved the run, run, run playcalling on the last drive, though at 2nd-12 had to start throwing...don't disagree with the 4th down try...but defense just got abused.

Nice play by Mario. Naturally Gailey squanders the opportunity.

Wouldn't be a bills game if they didn't settle for at least one field goal inside the 10

5 sacks in the last 3 weeks. 9.5 for the season now.
That wrist might actually have been bothering him...granted, too late for this season, but if he can do this over the course of his contract, he'll live up to it.

Sadly true.
Weak call keeps the drive alive, I'll take it.
Is Spiller injured? I'm at work and only seeing bits and pieces but I haven't seen him

Nice throw, nice catch, but marginal roughing the passer call at best helped out.
I hate that the wildcat has worked twice now....I despise the wildcat and that will only encourage Gailey to do it more.

Nope. apparently chan just decides it's a good idea to take his most dangerous player out of the game when we get into the red zone.
although we scored that time, but it still makes no ****ing sense

Spiller has gotten most of the touches (including the start), but Jackson had a few nice runs on that drive so go with the hot hand I suppose.

OK, thought I saw him in the first half, wasn't sure.
These refs are being real picky (on both sides).

Ha, I had no confidence that they would be able to stop that 3rd then 4th and 4 to go.
Sloppy teams, sloppy weather, nitpicking refs; not too upset I'm missing most of this one

Ron Brooks is struggling at corner though. We desperately need more CB depth.

Finally gives Lindell a shot and he nails it dead perfect from 50.

Looks like Lindell found his leg.
But wait, I thought he can't make anything over 44?

Spiller! This is one of those stupid games that gets all my hopes up for next year. Next year man, we'll get em then.
I know this isn't some revelatory fact but I am constantly impressed with the vision Spiller has developed. He spent the first couple years bouncing too far outside, not following blocks and taking too much time to make a decision. He always had the physical tools but as far as understanding of the game, he's improved by leaps and bounds, starting last year when Jackson went down and continuing all this year. He better anchor the offense next year, no questions asked.
edit: to be clear, I still REALLY want FJ playing a prominent role on this team, especially on passing downs and short yardage downs but Spiller's more than proved himself this season

Jackson has really softened the Jags D up with hard inside the tackles running, and Spiller took advantage by making one cut and boom, 6 points.
THIS is what we were expecting with the 2 backs running the football. Where was this playcalling the rest of the season? Where was it last week?
