They'll both be gone come the end of the next season that is played.
They both have enjoyed their time, but they have no intention on staying unless they're getting a significant raise, which Anaheim ownership will not be dishing out.
I'll still have Cammalleri (who plays much better than Getzlaf in game), Bobby Ryan, Luca Sbisa, David Booth and Cam Fowler to be the "faces" right now. Then I'll have Emerson Etem, Sven Bartschi and John Gibson who are all 4.5 star prospects who turn into mid-to-high 80's players in this game.
I have no issue with what I have done with the roster as I have obtained serviceable players in return that I play much better with than I did Getzlaf and Perry.
I will personally produce more with points Cammi than Getzlaf and more with Booth than Perry. This is just a video game, and because of that I perfer using Cammi and Booth instead of Getzlaf and Perry because of their speed and shot.
Ontop of that I've gathered two extra first round picks, two blue chip prospects (Bartschi and Jensen) and my starting goaltender (Schneider) until Gibson is ready. I am a much deeper team in goal and a much deeper in terms of future assets. The only effect this trade will have on me is in terms of sim production win/losses.
This is something the real Ducks have to do to get this team off of the mat and get young manageable pieces to compete as an internal budget team.
