Backstage talk on Cena's health; WWE wants Ambrose as a headliner

- John Cena continues to work pretty banged up. There is more and more talk that Cena's time as the full-time top star isn't going to last forever. There's a feeling that he will do main event storylines for as long as his body holds up and then probably work a schedule where he wouldn't always be on top but be saved for a few big matches and then eventually begin a part-time role.

The time frame of all this obviously depends on his body more than anything else but it's now being said that there is probably at least one more face of WWE that will be chosen by Vince McMahon before Vince hands over all power to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

- Right now, Dean Ambrose is the guy WWE officials want to build into a headliner once the angle with The Shield has run its course. At the same time, there are some in the company who think Roman Reigns has the most potential of the three. There's also a feeling that Reigns isn't ready as far as in-ring skills go but Ambrose and Seth Rollins are.

If Reigns isn't ready w/ his in the ring skills and doesn't offer too much on the mic, why is he thought of as the best of the three? I pray to God they let Ambrose be himself and go. The guy could be a legendary character.

As for the first one... not buying it. No chance. Cena will be overworked cus he's the one guy on there that keeps the business going.

Has the look, most strength. Which probably means to them he has the most "potential" ... Obviously Ambrose will be the headliner once The Shield will break up. Especially since CM Punk thinks highly of him still and I got a feeling CM Punk calls a lot of shots these days.

Reigns has one thing over both Ambrose and Rollins; "the look."

Ambrose has the complete package, IMO. Great look, great mic skills, great in the ring.

I see Ambrose as a better version of Raven, which imo is a really good thing.

I don't see much potential in Reigns other than his look, but then again I haven't seen him work a match or a full promo yet.

Seth Rollins is a phenomenal talent that just hasn't impressed on the mic yet. I'm hoping it's just prime time jitters.

Oh and I think they'll run Cena into the ground. He's a cash cow and they'll milk him for every marketing penny he's got left in him. I think he'll do a short heel run on his way out (once they find a worthy successor as being "Cena") then turn face and have a final match to put someone over.

No he's just that bad on the mic.

Not sure if that is really saying much. Scott Levy was extremely limited in the ring.

I mean in character. I loved Raven's character, and his promos.

Rollins is a natural face, isn't he? It makes sense his heel promos would be meh.
