so many great players in this league, honestly. I need to stop trying to make the pretty plays and letting the game screw me over.

I hear ya, but a nice passing play is so much more satisfying than say throwing turds on net and waiting for that inevitable bounce. Wish you weren't out west, our game was probably the most enjoyable I've played thus far -- minus the rammer-intervention that proved to be the difference...

Oh lord, what a frustrating block.

1-1-3. Finally getting some of my top 6 guys back, so I guess I can't be too upset being I've been missing Semin, J. Staal, Jokinen and Ruutu.

I was wondering this as well, but I assume that the advance gets bumped up a day--so tomorrow night?

I love playing as the Bruins. Such a change of pace from the Hawks. Everybody can just crush the other team. Laying people out is honestly almost as fun as winning.

Speaking of winning, i just saw that my Bruins are 12th in the East

Sims haven't been kind to Boston. Lots of injuries and a bad record.

also was kind of annoyed that the advance was early.. I still had 3 games.. 2 against the same team.. thinking I had time to play them last night.. oh well though.

Oh?

Weird. I thought all the games were played, and that's why we advanced--or perhaps that there were a handful of outstanding games.

Definitely shouldn't have gone early if some teams still had half their schedule.

What advance are you talking about? We still have our games to play, you just need to spend less time on Netflix and more time playing me!

Unless you're referring to the last advance that was made in which case nevermind!

He's referring to the advance Saturday night, which was supposed to be Sunday night.

Fair enough. I had two games not yet played but didn't really care to be honest, I usually get the bulk of my games in the first two days. I hate when it feels like I'm chasing and chasing guys to get my game(s) in.

Yeah, I think that issue was that there were maybe a dozen of us active on the message boards at the time, and we were all done, and lobbying Sensi to advance.

I dont mind the exception for the first bock of games. New GMs were joining, people were still figuring out what was going on so an extra day or so would have been understandable.

Now though, GMs have to take care of business and be active. Message your opponents and set up games. Active GMs shouldn't be punished by having to wait extra time because people cant get their games in for whatever reason

We didnt wait extra time.. the advance was scheduled for Sunday night but advanced Saturday night.. I should've had all day Sunday to get my remaining 3 games in, which I easily could've, seeing as how I was home all day, just doing some work.

I was surprised of the advance as well, next time we stick to schedule, unless all games are played.

No my post was meant for people wanting extra time in the future. I agree, that first block of games shouldn't have been advanced early. Future blocks though, GMs should be given no more than 3 days.

Fuss, I think I caught your "I lag all the time now for GM Connected Games" virus.

Try to play against Chicago: Lag fest
Try to restart against Chicago: Lag fest again. Unable to play.
Try to play Montreal today: Playable but with stuttering lag.
Try to play second game against Montreal today: Make it to 6 minutes left in the 3rd and EA craps out on me.

I missed out on being able to play 3 separate games because of my connection. Getting annoying.

Need to resign from the Sitwell Enterprises League. I just don't ahve the time for this, the Bluth League and everything else going on in my life right now, maybe can be used as a replacement in the future but for right now can't do it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Advance schedule is on the first page of the discussion thread where it's always been.
