I know this is from earlier in the thread, but how the hell did relationship jokes turn into a beginner's guide to social adequacy? And a pretty poor one at that.

Whatever. New topic. How bout them snakes?

One word, Puhis. Thats how.

Had a couple run-ins with copperheads this summer at the golf course. Don't worry. They are now two snakes short. And headless.

Didn't see this posted anywhere else. Terrible for the family's involved, The Chiefs organization, and the NFL.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/86...-team-facility

What a sad story. I have a feeling something like this could have been triggered by concussions.

Pure speculation. Could just as easily be a something else. Regardless, sad story.

Considering the other information that has leaked out, I can't even imagine a scenario where someone could possibly think "concussions" would have had anything to do with this. If anyone's going to wildly and baselessly speculate, there's at least 4 extremely plausible angles to follow, but none of them have anything to do with head injuries.

I should have specified it was pure speculation. That is how I intended it to be. I haven't heard the recent developments. Chill out.

I saw hockey today. I drank a couple of beers... and understrood that I miss hockey. Hockey itself wasn't anythign special, but bonding.. being part of something etc. And maybe drank a few more than just a couple of beers.

I miss GDT's. I miss Minnnesota Wild and everything. I miss you guys and gals. Even though you all are still here.

Too much emotion. Got to stop now.

E: I don't know if this belongs here or "Lockout Discussion". But I'm gonna listen some grunge-like music now, so it's somewhere.. between the lines of...

When I'm watching Terhaar and Gorg call a college game and am okay with it, we miss hockey.

What I like. This thread and its title. It's beautiful, smart, fun, honest, intelligent, unselfish, deep, ugly, false, stupid, rough, violent, shallow and everything in between of them. As the man himself and his career. Let's keep it like this. Honour the man.

A lot of Clutterbuck, some Heatley and Devils fans saying Parise.

Not bad.

Went to the high school boy's first game of the season today. They lost against Shakopee 5-3. My team's goalie played terribly in the first two periods. 4 goals on like 10-15 shots or something. Just brutal.

Then one of my sister's friends came over and asked me to come and watch the girls game at 7 tonight. Afterwards she ran off to her friends and they were all pointing at me and giggling and all that. Cha boi pimpin dem high school gurlz ya dig?

On one hand, I do enjoy watching girls games a lot, and one of my high school friends' mom always goes to the game and her and I could sit there and talk for hours and hours, but on the other I can finish watching Season 2 of Walking Dead, which I started this morning.

Decided Walking Dead.

The I only reason I watch girls hockey is cause they're my age... Even then I can't bear to watch..

Was at Michaels today with the gal as she had to pick up a few things. Walked by the model cars and what not and seriously contemplated getting one. No idea why...

This is what happens when there's no hockey to go to/watch.

Must be when he was playing with OTT.

Leafs fans remember him for something he did. Not sure what exactly.

I love the guy who dislikes Parise because of how he wants his name pronounced.
